edit: made an animation channel, hoping to do animation practice in the future on a lot of clips from this video and other iconic mark & ethan moments, so if that's something you're interested in, here's the link! :) kzbin.info/door/-5QND_PC9BSPDfGmsgRmtAfeatured hi! been meaning to put every instalment of the ‘ethan can’t talk’ series into one video for ages but kept forgetting until now. there’s a big chance this’ll get taken down in a day or two like other videos, sadly, but it’s here for now and i hope you enjoy the chaos! i miss these days. :’) also, i was able to re-public a bunch of my older ua/mark and ethan edits on my main channel, but i'm not sure if they'll get claimed again or not, so if you're missing those i'd go watch them while they're still up! kzbin.info/aero/PL0SIlVXZV70Ee2nrbMAqWGvs_rmUa225W

Ethan and Mark have both helped me so much with my own neurodivergency, especially the drastically different ways that they display and deal with thier ADD. Love these guys!
@jaxmorningstar67032 жыл бұрын
just a friendly hint, ADD is an outdated term and ADHD is the more fitting term. Attention Defficite Hyperactivity Disorder can mean that you're brain is hyperactive and not/not just your body. Also ADHD is also being scrutinized because it isn't an attention deficit as much as an attempt from the brain to focus on too many things/too little things/nothing sorta like overstimulate but more mild. ADHD has 3 'subtypes' that you might be diagnosed under, and ADD has been in the most basic of terms, been turned into one of them, because ADHD is an umbrella and there are 3 different 'subtypes' under it. I hope this helps at all and isn't just me rambling forever

Mark is the reason I found out I have ADHD. I can't remember what video it was, but Mark talking about his experience with it, with this thing that I had never heard of before (rural town mental health education is so extremely limited, at least until about 2018 which is as far as my knowledge goes, hoping it's changed) literally changed my life. It was so familiar, and I was just like "wait..... That's not how it is for everyone?" Which lead me to doing more research and, even though it took me another 4 years before I was diagnosed (thanks again rural doctor) it gave me the language to understand myself, explain things to my teachers, and understand and develop coping strategies by learning from the community. I'm so frustrated that even though I found out before the end of high school I wasn't able to be diagnosed or treated until I'd already finished tertiary education, but I've now been on medication for about 2.5 years and my life has been improved monumentally by it. All that because of some comments from a gaming KZbinr. Sharing your experience matters.

I’ve taken to just giving up the second I feel the stumble start. If i know a word is going to trip me up, I replace it with something way simpler: “hand me the spatula” becomes “hand me the boy” (and then I point). Or I just end the sentence early. I sound so incomprehensible so often (-n-')

I felt vicarious cringe when eef failed "skillet" with "skill t" filled out for him. Crying funny.

I normally say ," I can't English " or " me and English don't get along " especially when I'm at work and get tounge tied

I can't decide whether it's funnier when Ethan immediately questions himself or when he doubles down

my favorite thing ever is when eef doesn’t make sense and mark just looks so confused

I have ADHD, and the exact same thing happens to me, with the only difference being that I stop whatever I'm saying while Ethan commits to it. I gotta commit to it more.

10:57 is an Unus Annus moment that will, alongside the rest of UA, will forever live on inside my mind rent free, but there’s just… an added bonus to seeing Mark just genuinely double taking on Ethan. I mean Mark being genuinely confused is the majority of this comp but there’s something so funny about this specific moment to me

I love Marks "You ok man? You going through some stuff?" It sounded genuine while also laughing at Ethan's misfortune of being tounge tied. Like a true friend.

I hope Ethan knows how much happiness him being himself has brought so many people, but most of all, the friends he made so many silly videos with 🙂 what a national treasure

I have ADD.... this made me cry laughing because sometimes I am exactly this way. I have to replace so many words with either sounds or a sentence that is parallel to the sentence I'm actually trying to say. lmao.
