I put an ice tower at the start and just let it do its thing over the course of 100+ games while my defenses were further down the track and nothing with global range

022 ice monkey near the end of the track with a 200 alch to give him lead popping. 2nd gold bloon is camo as well, so Etienne makes it convenient. Avoid towers with infinite range and keep the defences away. Gold bloons are less likely to skip near the end of the track so it's better to set your gold popping at the end. I'm almost finished with 500 just doing all the beginner map medals on single player and coop following the bloon around, it's quite easy but just tedious. Higher difficulty maps are less viable because of shorter lengths or multiple paths, just work on black bordering every beginner map by only doing gold bloons and you'll be fine.

benj, 022 ice monkey at the beginning of the track with village 030 (020 before round 40 and 030 after). near the end of the track, put a simple defense so that it does not touch the golden bloons at the beginning of the track

@@ooSyzygy I put a corrosive glue next to it, and 2 villages, one 400 near both and one 030 spaced so it covers the ice monkey, but doesn't cover the glue. The glue and 4/502 sniper cleans up the cluster (except that one camo ceramic cluster) which is important because if the ice gets pierce capped, it lets the last bloons go first, letting your gold bloon slip through. Also try to time your 220 farms to get the 020 and 030 farms in time. The only "micro" involved is targeting the sniper on last for the 1st and 3rd bloon, then keep it on strong since they are all camo after that, and buy 210 glue as soon as the 3rd gold is popped, and 420 before round 61-63. The new update almost nerfs this strategy since the corrosive glue pool does hit the gold bloon on occasion but I haven't seen a problem yet. I like to use Benjamin with a Ninja/Sniper (or just Sauda with 2x0 Farm) start since that's cheaper than a 100 Ninja, and the bloon Trojan helps pushing off upgrading your sniper to the early 50s, but I'm also grinding Sapper, so I use Sniper range preview to find a spot to avoid most of the map coverage. I would love to see a updated in depth tutorial to grind gold bloons with when to place your farms to get a 02/30 village on time

@@true_darwin beginning of the map works too as long as you have a nearby corrosive glue (outside the 030 village) and a 402 sniper (strong) and 400 sniper (first) to prevent it from getting overwhelmed and upgrade the ice and glue all the way.

@@TYsdrawkcaB well. No. I an defentily not a psychopath, but it also wasnt really me. I have technically played since late 2018, but I only had the mobile version and quit the game. The thing is that my mother got a new laptop and she also loved btd5, so she bought btd6 on steam and started a new account. But I also played a lot on the new one, which basically made it our shared account where we play when we have time. We have 61 singleplayer black borders (2 coop blackborders), are veteran level 5 or 6 (dont remember) and have all but 2 achievements, without even having this new account for a year (Also, yes we have played the game for almost every day since we got it. I think we only missed 2 days or something like that)

Currently on 92% for this achievement, although also passed "A year in the making" (Day 392) and "The Daily Reid", putting into context how long it takes (although to be fair I don't play late game very much, usually to get other achievements that involve using specific towers).

Yo ethan i just found a bug in btd6 So it was that i got level 10normal pat and made it squeeze a moab and then sold it while it was squeezing then i died. And then when i started it again and got a different level 10 pat there a 2 dimensional moab on pat permanently. Kinda cool would like you to showcase it maybe?.

I've had some success with Apopalypse Mode. Just buy every tower that isn't a Paragon, True Sun God, or anything else capable of insta-killing, and leave it going until the FBADs get through. Then rinse and repeat. A lot of Fortified ZOMGs and BFBs in Apopalypse late-game, so progress towards the achievement can be up to 2% per game.

Basically something like the vtsg does so much damage per projectile that it can one shot a fMOAB/fBFB etc and this forces no child spawns, which is where the majority of pops towards sapper comes from

Imo "A year in the making" is harder. There are on average 2.25 daily challanges per day which means you can get daily reid in around 165 days when playing optimally. But a year in the making is locked to 365 days

Best way seems to go for freeplay rounds till 140, where you need to play around 232 games to reach 5million pops! ABR could bring a bit more but after round 100 all spawns are random so you can't calculate with it. If you have a good strat for Elite Bloonarius you can grind him as he brings almost 10k more pops than freeplay r140 so "only" around 162 games. But yeah this achievement is super grindy..

I'm sure I've played *at least* around 120 games past round 140 and I'm sitting at 44% of the achievement, and I'm not even counting bosses or daily challenges/advanced challenges, odysseys and other shenanigans. I should be a lot higher then if you math is correct no?

Because the math I used is straight from the wiki. If you didn't focus on this achievement in like 40 of your games for example then obviosuly your progress is off.

Theres actually a loophole here. Pop is simply to pop the bloons. In other words the round doesn't have to be over. So the strategy is this 1)Get to r163 on logs 2)Get something to kill everything in the back (ray of doom) 3)Put ice monkeys in the front to permastall at least 1 super ceram(i'd recommend 2 0-2-3 ice monkeys under 3-2-0 village Restart the round over and over when there is only the permastalled cerams left. Basically you can farm thousands of fortified bloons on r163 over and over again Some tips 1)You should choose a map like monkey meadows. Logs was so that i could farm more easily but if you want optimization you should choose an easy map on the first page 2) lets say you restart round 163 with extra towers in the front which could pop the super cerams. You would need to sell them everytime you restart the game. You could actually just sell the towers and lose on purpose, then restart. The restart point is where you died, so when you enter again those towers are gone The optimised setup in my opinion is r163 monkey meadows, 2 ice monkeys and a village at the front(close targetting is a better guarantee) and a ray of doom at one of the last few stretches. Im not sure how many rounds for 1% but im sure its under 25. Let the number of rounds be 20. You would only need to reenter your game and play 40 times to earn the 2% you would have otherwise earned through 200 rounds of freeplay. Thats about 20 mins or less! Getting to round 100 takes longer than that. Good luck and hope you enjoy this trick (provided they don't patch this)

I did this one, go normal mode(any map) and go as long as you can. Although ethan said to go alternate, it starts randomizing rounds at round 100, and normal mode at 140. Because of that, you may get more fortified than in alternate. Also, use AC whenever possible ggs
