And Meebkin STILL has the solo transition now that Workshop is finished. Loved the whole journey, but that was the one thing I was worried about them ruining, and they kept it the whole way through!! What an awesome island, definitely one of the best of its kind musically that we've had in a while.

@@madsyndromne i'm ngl, i don't keep up with fanmade predictions because i feel that they'd skew my opinions on what's to come, but that makes sense. i've noticed that a lot of the time the msm community really hates empty parts, whether they're clearly intentionally made (like in workshop's drop), a consequence of the island being unfinished or a secret third thing (the song just not being super great). there's this focus on Filling Space, whether it needs to be filled or not. not to ramble i just think about music a lot lol

@@Nick-jt5nb to be fair, i think that meebkin being relatively quiet is intentional and honestly sounds really good (then again i can always hear him just fine). i think if it was a significant amount louder i would notice him in a bad way rather than in the "meebkin part! incoming :D" way i notice him now. its first track (e.g., intro) honestly just sounds nice, fills in what space it needs to, and its second (e.g., drop + following verse) builds up tension nicely with the way its intial note fades out and then it fades back in with the higher one. super cool. again, though, that's just me and meebkin is always perfectly audible to me XD
