"Hello, Kali and Backtrack are nearly the same and have almost the same distros. Kali Linux replaced Backtrack. It doesn't quite matter which OS you use; you can use Ubuntu and install various hacking tools based on your requirements. Yes, there are tools for iOS devices. Dual-booting runs well but installing Kali in virtual is recommended if you are a beginner.
