These are helpful things to be mindful of how not to behave, can you provide commentary on what good looks like for this competency in a recording submission?

Hi Cathy, I may have answered some of this in the other comment you left on How to Record Your Coaching... But, this is a good question. What assessors are listening for is not an explanation of the ICF Ethics, but rather a way of being Coach. If what happens in a recording is that the Coach regularly steps out of the coaching behaviors and does a lot of leading clients through exercises, telling clients how they feel, not asking enough open ended questions, etc, there comes a place where the coach has not demonstrated enough of the competencies and the assessor may assess that they stepped out of coaching too much. At which point the assessor may feel that the coach doesn't understand coaching well enough and the recording might not pass. So, demonstrating the other competencies more, will support your demonstrating Ethics. :)
