There are beneficial techniques, someones gotta tell em/teach em. Fertalizing and farming the same plot every season causes issues with yeild a fallow plot allows for restored fertility over time. Should probably be farming multiple things on the land hes got and changing things every planting season

There is a civil war raging in Ethiopia and these people are talking about desertification. That is how cut off the west is from reality.
