Join Lanre Ajayi in exploring the amazing food of Ethiopian and Eritrean People. In this episode of MCST, I’ll be exploring some Cultural Cuisine of Ethiopians & Eritreans, giving rise to the number of restaurants within Calgary. My culinary journey takes me around some of these amazing restaurants namely, Yegna, Abyssinia, Hdmona, and Marathon. This episode was shot before the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown.

you only show part of Ethiopian culture. Eritrean and Ethiopian are two independent countries with different language and religion. FYI. Ethiopian don’t eat the same food each ethnic group have its own dishes.

Ethiopian food not Eritrean as teff is not a local crop of Eritrea, and pls the label ' habesha' Is derigatory stop using it , All Africans use bare hands to eat not only ethiopians n Eritreans, for a naija/ Yoruba man ki lo dey? False information, ethiopia is home to 80 different ethnic groups mostly Oromo and Amhara and somali and tigre. the largest Oromo and Somali regions. There are 9 ethnic groups in Eritrea. ethiopia and eritrea muslims and christians are 50 - 50. ethiopia is not Amhara and tigre or 2 ethic groups.

I'm Eritrean, and yes, we're definitely not the same people as Ethiopians. But Abyssinia doesn't refer to Ethiopia, it refers to the predeccessors to Ethiopia and Eritrea.

@dhadir mohamed yep the term habesha was giving to the Ethiopians by Arabs, which came from the word habes. Still today many Arabs & Sudanesse refer to Ethiopians as habes or habesha and Eritreans as Ertria.
