Ethnic Rhinoplasty 1-4month update.

Thank you for posting this and being so transparent. There are so few resources on ethnic rhinoplasty with very bulbous/wide noses. I've read that it could take up to 2 years for swelling to completely go down, but so far the results look great and you're not even at the 6 month point yet. Awesome. It also helps that you had a great canvas to start with. Very much looking forward to the 1 year update. I will be staying tuned.

The surgeon gave her an upturned tip with the nostrils too visible from the front & profile. If what she asked for was a more defined version of her original nose, this is a fail. It doesn’t look natural at all.

She still has a lot of visible swelling. As the swelling continues to subside, her tip will fall and not give such a upturned appearance 🤞🏾. And I think the filters she’s using play into the “unnatural” look of her nose 🥴. We rooting for her!!

I hope it will drop because it’s still swollen but I feel like because her nose was “wide” . I feel like it doesn’t suit her face too much . Especially because she has thick skin I think it will take a long time to go down

It will most likely drop but it will take awhile, mine looked exactly like this and I had very thick skin so it took nearly 3 years (yes, 3) for it to truly settle and not look extremely upturned.

Every month it looked better!! I think alot of doctors in Turkey focus too much on trying to create a bridge

My natural nose looks very similar to your old nose and its been so frustrating only seeing the transformations of black women who already have pretty small noses or noses that aren't as wide and bulbous. I really want to see more black women like you so I can see what my real results and options are.

I was going to Ucal, then he was booked so I chose Samil ( They work in the same office) But for some reason our schedules never worked. Then I realized that I really wanted a natural Barbie nose. So I chose a surgeon & I’ll be on on 4/14. Dr. U office is starting to give black women Rudolf the red noses reindeer type tips & bridge…It created a bulb effect and they need to quit it…

Is the tight skin look just swelling? I just got mine done 3 weeks ago and the sides of my nose look super tight. It doesn't fit me at all. It's like there's no separation between the cheeks and the nose. It's crazy the level of stress and anxiety that comes with the healing process. Your nose looks amazing

The columella is too short and upturned which looks unnatural. You did fine with making the nose thin but you turned the tip of the nose too far up to the point where your nostril can be seen even from a direct stare.

On Instagram a girl got her nose done and her before was very similar to yours and as she was healing again very similar to yours but NOWWW. It looks half the size as it was, most of what you have is swelling. The nose will drop down some more and the swelling will eventually subside. Good luck with everything. I’m booked with him in July and March is on Tuesday 😬😬😬
