Etho's super power is that after an embarassingly failed run, the next run he does becomes one of the best for that phase. Getting a 36 embers artifact on a run where he's trying to figure out stuffs (Rusty Repair Kit) and made it out alive, getting perfect Loot & Scoot timing on that spider cave, dodged all ravagers except the 1 under the bridge, professionally maneuvering through the mushrooms/amethyst cave in Level 2 while being chased by Sir Fluffykins... Man, this guy is such a protagonist. All this without seeing any other hermits' runs except for himself.

2:29:20 it really is a trick and of course Etho is the first player to notice it. When the ravager is at the top of the stairs, and the hermit stands back a bit and hugs the wall, the ravager will pathfind into the alcove to try to get closer to the hermit. If you just stand in the middle of the stairs, the ravager won't do that.

@@boon_choom During the day drowned only track characters in the water, so you only gain agro when you enter. They might keep agro (throw tridents) for a while after you leave but not long, and they won't *start* until you touch water. At night however, they track and attack freely; so no where is 'safe' if it's within LoS to the water. Willy would ignore you on the ship during the day, at night he'll pepper to deck with tridants trying to kill you. They can even leave the water at night which they won't do during the day - not that that's all that relevant for a trident drowned.

It's so fun to see the different strategies and play styles. And it's AMAZING to see Tango's reactions to his creation. He put so much time and effort into DO2, it's insane. I'm so glad we get to watch him enjoy the fruits of his labor. Some hermits want to delve as deeply as possible. Some want to stay up top and hope for coins. Some have wildly swinging successes and failures. Some are more consistent. Some run everywhere, some sneak everywhere. Some panic, and some face down a freaking warden and say hello hello hello as they creep on by. (I'm sure Etho had some panic there even though he kept it together) Some have built their decks up very nicely. Some still have bare bones decks and still go deeper in to explore. Some seek out secrets and easter eggs. Some fall through powdered snow and into the Tangostone. Some have RNG on their side. Some have plot armor. Some wear actual armor (on accident). Some mix/max. Some YOLO. And EVERYONE has a ton of FUN. Which is the point. The hermits love it. The viewers love it. It's fantastic.

It would likely depend on how Tango set it up to damage Rusty after a run. I’m willing to bet that he uses a calibrated sculk sensor to listen for healing the golem, then when the game enters the resetting phase, only if the golem has been healed will it be damaged again. If the golem is damaged more than it is healed multiple can be used. But since the iron golem needs to only take a single tick of damage to be able to heal, I’m guessing a double piston extender crushes it for a moment and retracts.

Bit late now, but "Man-Eating Berry Bush" could be a good one. That's how Tango told the story of his own berry bush death in a Plate Up stream.

I just thought of something funny Tango could sell the "Tango GPS" where he sits and comments the best route to take regardless of ravager locations 😂
@tetsujin_1448 ай бұрын
Bettter yet if the feature were implemented as a soundboard of recorded messages Tango can play when necessary. "In 200 meters take the next right" "Updating route." "Turn around when possible "You have arrived at your destination"

Lol instead of adding a second Ravage to the "Death chamber" because it's "too easy", change up the button location or add a second button into a sequence to make it harder, it will drive them NUTS! and thats always hilarious xD

1:14:10 idk why but this part was hilarious to me. As if they’re sending tango to the store to pick stuff up and just checking that everyone is good 😂

This HAS to be THE best stream yet!! My cheeks ache, I've had a stitch..😂 I so hope you are immensely proud of yourself Tango. For all you've achieved here. I just can not get enough!!! 😊

I absolutely love the fact that Tango used the door open sound from older Legend of Zelda games for when the doors open in Decked Out 2. It is absolutely wonderful.

15:30 - Maybe it's time you built a real meeting room. Like no more of this "come into the egg room, whoops I forgot to bring some blocks", make it "step inside my office...", like with a door and stuff.

I hope Etho eventually gets his artefact. Will be great to see Etho react to that. After watching this I know a little bit more about Etho.

Etho reminds me so much of my little brother. He’s so smart and uses it for evil and I love it. I also love Ergo

Longshot, but the deck not being returned bug occurred the run before a stumble was played first, it may be an issue where stumble is added to the shuffler right after the all of the cards are drained, ticking the card counter after the deck draining function completes

I've found one of the best ways to troubleshoot an issue I can't seem to solve is to find someone to explain the issue to, and try to explain how the whole system works for them. It always results in me finding the fundamental flaw in whatever it was I was working on.

2:52:32-2:53:12 Etho most definitely "believes in the heart of the cards"

Best thing is watching Iskall runs. He`s always bunny hopping, and wondering why his clank builds up so fast, and buy hazzard blocking cards thinking that will solve it hahahaha

Just have to say again how much I appreciate Tango uploading a majority of Etho's runs from his perspective. Love seeing every angle of it, especially all the times you see him run by loot and just sit there and stare at it for a second 😂 Much love

A good solution for anybody having trouble getting keys (whether it's due to the system failing or bad RNG) is adding a failsafe door that opens up after "X" amount of minutes which leads to a dangerous and risky path that has a guaranteed key at the end. Something that people can't just memorize or get good at since this key should be a last resort.

I'm so happy for Tango, he put a year of his life into Decked Out and so many Hermits are addicted. Most Hermits videos are Decked Out and not Hermitcraft, Tango has taken over the server!!! Did TCG have the same impact a few months ago? I was never interested in TCG but the work Beef put in was very impressive
