So much nostalgia, i like most of the new texture changes however i do love the old chests! Overall i think the game has been developed ever so well into a much more approachable and easier game to build in. The old game has its charm though :-) Thanks for the tour, really enjoyed it.

An easy thing to forget is how they've changed the sounds, too, since downgrading to old versions keeps the current sounds for some reason. Bows, TNT, skeletons, cows, doors, all kinds of things sounded different.

***** ok, either you don't get it or you are just plain stupid. In his first series on this ialand, he kept going a theme of diamonds being worthless and continued to call them shiny blue rocks. Very often he threw diamonds into lava, fire, water or just got rid of them (you should've noticed how he ignores diamonds when mining in his current world) hence, this was brought up because it was the first time etho did it

When you hear his voice talking about all this and then you know; Oh, but then Endermen are going to destroy your place! Or.. In the next few episodes you're gonna accidentally blow that up. I remember when I used to watch this - the environmentalist I was (and still am), I loved Etho’s natural area on the roof. I recently built one just like it: it’s bigger, though, and it has moss blocks and grass instead of wool.

I miss the old food system, but I don't think I mind the Hunger Bar. It adds to the game, for me. I can understand your gripe on it, though. Sometimes it's just a nuisance. I want you to know; I had heard about you before. I heard your name a lot, from a lot of people. I never went to check out your videos, though. I always thought that you were a jerk or something. Just based off of stereotypes. It was definitely my bad. The main reason I started to watch you was due to someone named Dewtroid. At the time, she was one of my favourite people to watch. Cool personality, smart redstone, etc. Dewtroid mentioned you a few times over. She made something called "Etho's Chaos Cannon" and it made me want to check out your channel. I heard it was very technical, and made me want to learn how to play Minecraft better. I came to your channel, and started to watch some of your videos. I really liked how you spoke, your mannerisms, when you explained redstone builds. I still like that, it's good to see, multiple times, how to build a small component. I feel a little embarrassed to say that I'm bad at learning, though, so I haven't gotten down a /ton/ of Redstone stuff, but I try. I have a friend who very much likes redstone, too. We have a Realms we play on, because we love Vanilla so much. When I found out you were part of a community called "Mindcrack" I started to watch your videos that had to do with them. Learnt about Bdubs, and KurtJMac. People who I watch a ton, now. I can't believe I;ve been watching your channel for years now [I think]. It's crazy how quick the time flies by. I still feel very young to your channel, but you talk about these old worlds, and I'm sad I had never been able to watch them all. I sometimes go back to those older videos and watch some. I remember when you posted a video about people who would rant on about the diamonds in your walls. How you were taunting them, or something. Sometimes I wonder what it is about you that I keep coming back to watch. You're like a brother, or a close friend, yet I've never met you. It's weird. You treat the audience as something special, and each episode you make has some movie magic to it. It makes me sad that there are those fanatics who stalked you a while back, and that people constantly ask you to show your face. You're so incredibly popular that it's hard to wrap my head around. I somewhat understand though, because seeing you would be like seeing the long lost brother, or friend. My head might just implode from excitement. Being that you're close to my age too, I sometimes wonder if you know who your demographic is. You're age range is massive, but everyone loves Minecraft. Anyway, doubting you'll see this, if you ever do then thanks for reading. I know it must be tough to go through comments sometimes, seeing weird long comments, but I sometimes feel that the people in my life that make my life feel important should know. God, tour episodes are always so nostalgic for me! I was here when you started your first lets play sooooo long ago, but forgot about you because I wasn't a subscriber. When I found you through mindcrack a second time it was so magical! I remember thinking the door trap you made in episode two was the best thing I ever saw in minecraft. It's so wierd how I can remember when each and every block was added, but it never seems like it was long ago until I watch a nostalgic episode like a world tour. I think the only version I haven't played is Full Release 1.3. Maybe Full release 1.5 too.

I miss the old days of Minecraft, too. It's... it's sad in a way, what Minecraft has become. No more fun glitches to exploit, no more small community, no more beautiful green leaves and grass, no more Notch, complicated hunger/food system... I mean, things like hoppers and pistons and new mobs and enchanting and brewing and stuff is cool, but the old school had such a charm and feel to it... that isn't there anymore. I still like Minecraft still, a lot. But... I don't know... I'm just glad guys like Etho that are true old school guys are around, makes me feel like old Minecraft is still here, in spirit.

I loved this episode because 1: It was like uncovering a relic, and not knowing what happened. 2:Everything almost works, and like 2-4 years ago they were seamless and new. 3: I like to think that the creeper in the water, the minecart in the house, and the farms were going on for years and he just finds them. This episode is really cool, you should do this again.

Etho, Going into the nostalgia is fun. But bringing nostalgia to your home is even more fun. So maybe build a eeths road (spelled that correctly?) from one place to the other. And other subject: Have you ever thought of playing a minecraft map again, maybe a puzzle map or something? Or even an entirely different game such as The Escapists, Dont starve, spelunky, rogue legacy or one of the other games that exist. Maybe go back to your mapmaking series? Or why not some more terraria. Try a different game mode on that such as the tier above softcore so you lose items. The point I am trying to make is that I am not bored yet. But I am seeing the same content over and over again and I'd like to see something different. So maybe think about that. Keep up those good videos! Sincerely MistoryMC

My favorite memory from the Chocolate Island days was when you were clearing out the bottom area near the suicide booth. You were digging somethings and you stumbled across a piece of glass. You couldn't figure out where it came from, then you realized. It was from the first episode of the series, where you made a sky light to tell if it was day. You reminded all of us what it was, looked at it like it was going to stay forever. You then broke it. I imagine with the most straight of faces. It was so funny. Sentimental Etho is sentimental...?

When you saw the ore blocks at the end of the long tunnel and mined one of them, after cutting to the next part there were only 5 redstone dust visible in your hotbar.
