I think I have to say something about Cytonn here before I do a video to review their mmf. Despite everything that has been going on with Cytonn the scandal didn't affect the money market fund. The money market funds are well regulated and no one has lost money invested in Cytonn MMF.

I opened an etica money market account online a couple of weeks ago but the issue is i cant do online transfer from my accounts, so I'm wondering do the banks know something that we don't. I dont have the same problem with other money market funds

Sounds like your Etica account has an issue, I recommend reaching out to Etica's customer support team for assistance. They should be able to provide more detailed information and help resolve the issue.

Yeah, you should reach out to their customer care. Though for bank transactions take time to reflect on the Etica account and so you will need to forward the message of transaction to them unlike for Mpesa transactions which take less than 24 hours or almost immediately.

Actually cytonn is the best performing mmf at the moment The other investment class ya real estate ndio iko na shida since it was not regulated most probably they ll settle out of courts since there is no umbrella covering the investors/clients Thanks

Investors should take time to understand and differentiate Various products offered by Cytonn and particularly which one had issues that led to loss of funds because Cytonn MMF did not loose but yes there was a loss , get your facts right.
