Yet another amazing performance of beautiful music. How do you work on the arrangements?

I try a lot of things, and it depends mostly of the content of the music I'm trying to cover. First I hear the music many times, then I write the main notes of the melody. I write the chords. I write any detail that I can hear, even if that can be "unplayable" because I'll figure it out later on the instrument. I try all what I wrote on the piano. I work on the hardest lines, and find the best way to keep compromise between "good sound / original sound". I train, again, and again, and again. Then I record and film it at the same time. If i'm not satisfied, I train all over many times more and try to record a better version.
