Great review, it makes a refreshing change to watch a business class review by someone who is genuinely excited about the whole experience! I am lucky enough to have taken 3 flights business class with Etihad on their 787's through bidding for upgrades from Economy and I really enjoyed each one. Just booked a return trip from Manchester to Phuket for later in the year and managed to get business class on all 4 legs for a good price, I can't wait!

I'm excited to fly my first A380 business class with Etihad in a few months. Honestly I've gotten mixed reviews between "meh" and "this is worth it" especially since I've paid less £1.7k for a return trip from MNL. But this is one of the videos which convinced me that my gut was right. Though, I'm not sure whether to choose the mini-cabin or the seat next to the door used to board premium passengers (first set to the front of the upper deck). On one hand, I'd like the feeling of intimacy. On the other hand, staying in a single deck mini-cabin is usually closer to a door used to board passengers so in those cases, I could disembark quickly.

@_Tripsandtips101 I totally understand your caution, especially if you had to shell out a lot more for this flight. Tbh, I always find flying on an A380 a magical experience. The only thing that is lacking on Etihad's A380 is the "bar". The cabin is quite large, so it did take quite a bit of time before I could disembark, so you might want to factor that in when choosing your seat. But definitely pick a window seat. I've flown etihad business-class on their B787 and there is such a huge difference in the space you get. The amenity kits have been upgraded since this video, and I think they are much better now. Anyway I hope you enjoy your flight! I would also love to hear about your experience afterwards.
