Etihad A380 Returns: First Class Apartments Full Flight Review: Inaugural Abu Dhabi to London

I was extremely lucky to find a ticket to purchase on the First Class cabin on Etihad A380 for their inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to London that was just 2 days ago! I started my journey in Cairo where I could find an availability from, and I was so lucky that they happened to start A380 on the day I was flying (the previously reported July 15th date wouldn't have worked for me!) This was a re-inauguration of the A380 as they decided to reactivate 5 of these planes that were grounded since 2020. The experience was something to remember! The cabin is gorgeous, the service is stellar and not just the flight attendants, but the Etihad employees that were on the flight were all extremely friendly. The food was good, and the seat was extremely comfortable. I'm a tall person, so I usually try to fit in lie-flat beds, but this was something else. There's also a shower on board, which was a great experience. There was even a BAR lounge area on the plane! I hope to fly many more first classes pretty soon, so stay tuned for the next videos!

So glad the Etihad A380 is back. Flown it many times before Covid (in Business) and loved it. Was very sad when A380s were withdrawn (first world problem considering what was going on during Covid, I know). Can't wait to try it again. Etihad must be pleased too after all their marketing of the amazing Residence

The only downside to A380 and many others the plane tends to shake more that I thought it would while landing and not even turbulence shake, but what a delightful experience, if only I could taste the food.
