I am so glad I watched this video. I always thought they really were taking our $, but it makes sense that they just don't want us to profit. It has become more obvious lately that the algo's are getting better at dropping back down and re-testing, and the big moves up sometimes are harder to identify, especially during the middle of the day.

i think the entry and risk reward ratio is extremely important. even though you know the likely direction, but how much SL are you willing to give to find out whether the trade work or not? if i use a limit order, i only buy the 618 retracement, anything smaller than 618 will give a poor RR and i dont do any of those.

HIi, thank you for the video! Appreciate it. I do however a question which maybe is a bit hard to answer but would be a great deal if you are able to. In the example presented in 19.50 min into the video (break or trap ETM original section), for the example in question you are talking about an entry in 1h but also you mention the importance of identifying the overall trend. However in the example the price breaks the 1h swing lows (which turns out to be a liquidity grab) before going up and form a ftp . Would it not be also that when price visits the swing high again grabs the liquidity and breaks it below since the structure turned bearish (as structure had broken twice before in 1h) ? Or do you use a rule to count a level as swing low , like minimum retracement of x pips to count it as a swing etc. I would get it though if you said that you identify the trend in 4h or daily and entry in 1h where the structure can become bearish.
