Very useful, thanks. Pls make a detailed video on what would be Tax if Total Income is coming from combo of (Short term Capital Gain + Long term Capital Gain + FD + Salary all inclusive income) Case 1 : Total Gross income by all the heads = 38 Lacs (In which Short term Capital Gain 15 L + Long term Capital Gain 10 L + FD 6 L + Salary 7 L all inclusive income 38 L) Case 2 : Total Gross income by all the heads = 17 Lacs (In which Short term Capital Gain 6 L + Long term Capital Gain 5 L + FD 2 L + Salary 4 L all inclusive income 17 L) Case 3 : Total Gross income by all the heads = 12 Lacs (In which Short term Capital Gain 3 L + Long term Capital Gain 4 L + FD 2 L + Salary 3 L all inclusive income 12 L)

Glad to know that you found this video helpful. Please don’t forget to share it with your friends and family. As to your suggestion, short and long-term capital gains are subject to the revised tax rules stipulated in the FY25 budget. You can watch our related video on that at kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2HPamZvrr6Yh7s.

Please make a video comparing multi-asset funds. All channels talk about investing in these but none provide insights on their specfic asset allocation and other parameters beyond the obvious an generic information about MAFs.

Thanks for this, can you clarify if nps vatsalya deduction for my kid can be clubbed with my nps 50k deduction?
@shettigarrammohan22018 күн бұрын
Nope. NPS deduction by employer side only you can claim and not employee contribution in new Tax regime.
@ETMONEY4 күн бұрын
If you opt for the old tax regime in the next financial year, your contributions up to Rs 50,000 in the NPS Vatsalya will get tax benefit under Section 80CCD(1B). If you opt for the new regime, this tax benefit is not available. However, employer's contribution to the NPS under Section 80CCD(2) is available in the new regime up to 14% of the basic salary. You can get in touch with your HR/accountant for your individual case.

I am so confused. By deleting the below in new tax resume and proclaiming you will benefit more than 1L are we really getting benefit? HRA, LTA, meal coupons, car lease benefits, Section 80C, 80D, 80E deductions, and home loan interest on self-occupied houses
@ETMONEY4 күн бұрын
That would depend on your individual case. However, in general, after the further sweetening of the new tax regime, it will be more beneficial for most taxpayers.

Salary income 10 lac plus 2 lacs debt mutual fund capital gain, in year 2025-26 tax will be zero or any tax, kindly reply

So, now does it make sense to stick with old regime?
@linsonkurian8 күн бұрын
Old tax is already useless after last interim budget. After standard deduction of 75k,makes new regime is better than old regime . After this budget, new regime is much more better. Pls calculate on online tax calculator to confirm your scenario
@ETMONEY4 күн бұрын
While you can run your own calculations based on the deductions and exemptions you can avail in the old tax regime, in all likelihood, new tax regime will now be beneficial for most taxpayers.
