They still haven't implemented my thoroughly researched design suggestion; they should put two > notches at the leading edge of each foil, one above the other, and a single < notch in the trailing edge. This will minimise the surface area and drag and will lessen the amount of vertical water spray.

@@ohnean1 I've read that the composite foils are shedding their gel coat and that metal foils were being considered. Perhaps they were referring to the GP foiling cat 45's?
