There was grease on the paint side of the needle SO THANKS to you that I caught that beforehand! Used gun to apply Cerakote Matt Clear. Worked fine and more thanks to you for the vid on "setting up."

#SPRAYGUN Thanks for review. More than 10 years ago I buy for one special project (glider wing coat partial repair with PU white colour) quality spray gun which costs me more than 300,-Euro with aditional stuff like bigger colour can and so. As total newbie I believe that high quality and expensive tools are neccessary because I cant fight with my two left hands and bad equipment together. I know, I was young and stupid but project turns very well with help from my friends. Nearly. Lot of preparation, lot of sanding and polishing but exept some minor defects result is very nice, unfortunately I was not able to reproduce slight orange peel which was originaly on the surface and repaired part is smoother and more shiny, thus it is visible where repair was made... Today I learn, that skill and knowledge and patience is more important than expensive gear. Thanks for video and share of your knowledge Martin.

I really had hard time with this one whilst spraying Lacquer on my carrom board as final finish. problem was fluid dripping, splattering, heavy bottom pattern and ofcourse massive orange peel. This gun ruined the finish and being a newbie I lost confidence I thought spraying is not my thing and I should quit this hobby.

Great video, as always! Just to spray 2 or 3 times a year, spraying with cans would be better in my opinion. I prefer waiting and investigating in good tools, that working with bad ones that I won't keep because of bad quality. I prefer cans to cheap spray gun. Would it be possible for you to make a video about "good" spraying tools? By good I mean good enough for enthusiasts. There might be a sweet point between 12 and 350€ 🙂

Would it be a good idea, at this price , to buy 2 #spraygun avoiding deep cleaning between the steps ?
