Thoughts: It's a somewhat late April Fool's joke, but I thought I'd share one of my projects. I used to be into Guilty Gear Strive and used Ky Kiske. I modded my Qanba Q4 RAF (I still have it if anyone wants a sound test), but it requires using a Brook Wingman to work correctly. I wanted something plug-and-play and compatible with Korean levers. The Etokki Omni was the one I wanted, but I had to hunt for it on the aftermarket. Luckily, I found one in the exact spec from a fellow hobbyist, and we are here now!
The Brook UFB Fusion conversion was somewhat challenging to do. The screw mounting points didn't work with the new PCB (surprise, surprise), so I used the self-adhesive feet, and those worked like a charm! At that point, it was following manuals on what wires to connect to what position, which took a good one and a half hours to get right. Then, I updated the Brook UFB Fusion before closing the case back up. The way the harness is configured, I can't have the two buttons needed for the update without switching the wires I use when I usually use the stick. In addition, I did not know I needed the conversion harness for the lever, but Arcade Shock sent that quickly out to me!
Anyway, now that I'm back to playing Tekken 8 (soft spot since I've played since I was a kid), I learned the Korean lever was lauded as near essential for gameplay due to it being better to use with Tekken's gameplay, and I have to say that I agree. Backdashing feels way more natural. Wave dashing and Mishima movement feel much better, too. The rubber grommet makes inputs feel much more natural because you return to neutral more easily. Overall, the Knee Lever Neo is great! No, it does not make you a better player, but dang it. It feels fun learning the game with the lever.
Lastly, thanks to the countless artists who selflessly release art for the community to use for their fightsticks. Whoever did the Solo Leveling one, you're a real one! I hope I did you proud with the final configuration. Happy 300 videos, everyone! I didn't mean to, but it's so funny the 300th video is an arcade stick instead of a keyboard. I wouldn't celebrate it any other way :D

Hi! If you use the old PCB, I'm not sure. Theoretically, if it was the Korean version of PCB, it should be plug-and-play. Before, the person used a Fujin IIRC and didn't have to do anything fancy. If you switch to Brook UFB Fusion, you will need a conversion harness if you use their default FGC cable harness. Cheers!

Hi! Thanks for the kind words. The capsule top does not rotate if you're holding it normally. It will only rotate if you make that motion on purpose if that makes sense. I hope this helps!

Does focus attacks plexiglass hurt your wrist?

It does not hurt my wrist, thankfully! Despite the edges looking sharp for the plastic, they're okay. I usually wear long sleeves to protect my wrists, but my hands are also small compared to others. A bigger hand wouldn't have an issue!

Love the set up on your etokki! I also have a Korean edition and I want to switch to the ufb fusion. Just wanted to ask, is it easy to install the ufb fusion? I’m new to this kind of thing😅

It's hard at first, but follow schematics from the manufacturers on the colors of their cables, and you'll be fine. If I can do it after not tinkering with arcade sticks for three years, I think you can, too :) Take your time and check your work (game test) before screwing the fight stick back together! Hi! You will need a 5-pin .187 to 5-Pin Conversion Harness from Arcade Shock to install any Korean lever into a Japanese arcade stick. I hope this helps!

Hey I have an Etokki Omni Korean Edition and I'm looking to grab the Knee Neo Lever. Do I have to order a JLF Plexi Cut for the lever or is the original Korean Plexi Cut just fine? Thanks in advance! Great Video too

Yo! Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I think they are still available on www.us.istmall.co.kr/. I used the Korean Plexi Cut (which I had to get cut), but it would work fine with a Japanese Plexiglass. My brain defaulted to "Korean lever warrants Korean Plexiglass," if that makes sense! Basically, you can save your money, haha. One cool thing, though, is with the Korean hole cut-out, you can see the blue light come through the lever hole because the Brook UFB Fusion PCB is close enough (at least where I placed it). It makes it really easy to determine if it's connected or not. 😄
