Jim Lauderdale! One of the most underraated musicians in existence. He has played with everyone. EVERYONE.

@Jim Lauderdale: You're one of my favorite musicians but it took me until the Covid years to learn your name. Your video with The Mavericks, one of the best bands in America, gets revisited often. Happy Thanksgiving, Jim.

The arrangement, the harmony, the solos - it all came together. Look at the happy faces at the end - they nailed it, and they knew it. Yes!

Hi No too old for concerts but I watch a lot on you tube. I’m a fella that grew up with the 60’s so I gravitate to those songs. Thanks for replying

Found a Jim Lauderdale CD at the Goodwill Store. Never heard of him before, but it was a good $.99 spent I think! Hard to believe I’ve never heard of him esp after digging up all this stuff on YT.

One of my all time favorite songs. Yet I had forgotten about. Resonated in my teens in the early 70’s & still does today ❤

I was working Hardly Strictly Bluegrass about 8-10 years ago @ Banjo Stage on a Friday. Lauderdale's performance was great- Hey, it's really good when you can listen to fine music and get paid for it.

My friend @Warren Eustace, who sends me many great videos of different artists sent me this video of y'all doin' "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere", a song I bought in 1968 by the Byrds. At that time I didn't know it was a Bob Dylan song. I really like this version of yours a lot. Nicely done. Cheers! 🙏🎶🎸🎤

Who's playing the fabulous steel guitar?
@villebillie15624 жыл бұрын
I don't know. There is no steel guitar player listed as a current, auxiliary or former auxiliary member on their wikipedia page or official band webpage. Maybe he came with Jim Lauderdale.
