Rather tragic that this man stopped posting videos. Really clear, concise stuff.

Hey! I got to tell you man. You are a G O O D educator / teacher / trainer. Uber respect and accolades. It takes a talent to be able to explain things so beautifully. Please consider doing more videos about programming, G-code, etc. Cheers.

May I ask if I program each knife to be 1G (G54 -> G59), what is the total G of G54 ,55,56,57,58.59?

perfect explanation

Is G54 z and 59 x on lathes, that's y G59 isn't used on the work offset, right, cause it's the centerline, but of course you touch off or do test cutts to set tool offsets for sure...nevermind. So G54 is the work, and 59 is what. Where do you find in a machine the travel g distance between machine zero and chuck jaw tips, for example?

Im 18 and trying to teach myself so sorry if i sound dumb, but do i move it to the position and set g54 to store it or type g54 and then the xyz? And how would i set it back to that offset? By typing g54 again? Thanks in advance

You set the g54 value in the machine. Generally by a probe or edge finder to a particular position. Better information is here: engineeringtechnology.org/et-curriculum-and-lecture-notes/course-cnc-and-computer-aided-manufacturing/ There are lecture links on the first page of the slides. See in particular the Machine Setup lecture .

You never said what you do to store the x, y, and z values into the G54 table.

Nice video. At 2:30 you said "z" but I understand it was "y".
