I'm an engineer but I can surely tell you that it's not so easy to replace that broken screen especially if you have not done this before. Better to buy yourself a new 📱

I've drop mine in water. Its in bowl of rice now. Can You tell what part gets short-circuited/damaged first, or most often? Or is it completely situational? Thanks in advance.

I replaced the screen following all the steps suggested in the video but, when I turn on the phone, I can see no image on the display. If I push the power button, the phone restart and I can feel the vibration, but the screen remain gray, lightened in the back, but without any image and I can't use the phone. If I put in charge, I can see the green light, so the recharging system seems to work correctly. Any suggestion? I replaced also the battery and the flat flex that connect the charge connector with motherboard

Based on the problem you meet, we think there is something wrong with your screen. Did you check the screen flex cable, or maybe you misconnect the flex. Furthermore, the new display screen has to be checked before installation. The battery is ok, and so is the connector.

@@etradesupply Thank you for the answer. The display is brand new, howewer I have sended it back to the seller and I'm waiting for a new one, in case the display was not working. What do you mean with "you misconnect the flex"? I pulled the flex into the connector carefully as shown in this video. I've tried several times disconnecting and reconnecting the flex. How can I check the screen flex cable?

@@AlessandroRossi74 Sir, we don't know what kind of Huawei screen and digitizer you purchased. We suggest you connect the battery cable and the new display flex cables. Turn on the phone and check if the screen is working OK before you reassemble the phone. You won't make mistakes if you follow our steps in the video.

@@etradesupplyThank you again for your answer! I've purchased this display www.ebay.it/itm/LCD-DISPLAY-HUAWEI-HONOR-9-LITE-LLD-L31-AL00-AL09-TOUCH-SCREEN-VETRO-SCHERMO-BLU/333258132711? ssPageName = STRK% 3AMEBIDX% 3AIT & _trksid = p2060353.m2749.l2649 it has a lot of positive review. I've connected the dispaly and the battery several times before reassemble the phone, but the screen never worked correctly. I hoped you would have an idea on what could determine a problem like this, assuming the new display is working and everything is connected correctly. Fortunately the seller is sending me another display, I will check again when the new display will arrive. If also this new display won't work, do you think it could be some problem on the motherboard? Or some damage done disconnecting the battery while the phone was on? I could not shut down the phone as the old screen was completely broken, so I disconnected the battery while the phone was on.

Can you guys do the same for a honor 9 lite guys? Pretty please?
@etradesupply5 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to hear this, but we don't have the Honor 9 lite now. If you repair your device, remember to turn off the device first. After you open the device, release the battery connector before you do any repair.

@etradesupply4 жыл бұрын
This is a kind of detergent spray called "530 cleaning detergent". It is used for cleaning dust, dirt, and oil on the mainboard or the digital device's internal parts. Quite useful and cheap.

What a shitty design... I was repairing Samsung J5 2017 recently and all you had to do was to heat up the old lcd, remove it, apply glue and place the new lcd... Here you must teardown the whole device and also buy a new battery since i guess you will damage it
