Wow, I didn't think this was possible. I thought about using the fantasias but assumed that Primevil would prioritize punishing you for the buff limit over its elementals, rather than the other way around.

I just noticed, at 2:48 for some reason Kokorawas Flame did not get blocked and reflected despite Primevil using Membrane, and also not on any following turns. Could it be that Membrane is completely messed up here lmao?

It's actually a buff in the original. Untold converted into an actual counter. But you can wipe Membrane with the fantasias or Erasure, rending it a rather pathetic mechanic.

I didn't really do challenge runs for those (yet) so right now I'd say this is the worst of the bunch. Primevil's a lot easier with a Protector and Medic though. Without? Good god. Incidentally a couple of mechanical changes in EO3 HD I heard about I suspect will actually heavily nerf Abyssal God due to how its AI works in that game. Assuming the AI wasn't changed to accommodate for the changes in the HD version.

@@eizneckam4936 Charge and Etheric Charge were buffed. You hold onto them until you use them up. They don't affect unapplicable attacks. They also affect chasers now. Just the first chase though. It's a nerf to AG since it input read you using charges, but since you can just hold onto them while everyone else pokes at the defense form, it makes that phase of the fight a lot less scary.

With mist items i think you can do it with only survivalists.

It's certainly an uphill battle but he party composition makes sense. Though it just wouldn't be on-brand for EO1 without needing a bit of RNG manip to seal the deal, wouldn't it? =P

Why does everyone ignore the mists. You can get a 70% elemental damage reduction with first turn elemental mist and a 30% damage resistance for 5 turns. You can use those along with moss coat or toramline (spam moss ring probably is enough) if you need it and all you have to worry about is the physical skills. You can beat it basically as long as you have a survivalist and even without a single damage reduction skill

I did try that setup but it didn't really work out, as my party died horribly a lot to Primevil's overkill physicals which was my actual main worry. (Also the elemental mists are 60% damage reduction and the All Mist is a 25% attack reduction). I also wanted to speed through the fight to minimize the chances of Necrosis and Entangle coming out since those were basically instant lose buttons if Primevil decided to press them.

Best damage a Sword Landsknecht can put out without imbues. And I tried to avoid reskilling this party as much as I could aside from the Dark Hunter which wasn't negotiable due to Primevil's immunities.

Weird, I tought Primevil used "Resolve" Inmediatly when you use more than 5-10 buffs I guess it is not as coward as the Chief

EO1 postgame in general is probably the worst postgame in the series and to finish off the absurdity that is EO1 Claret Hollows (please tell me they increased the map icon limit) Primevil being such an oppresive force against team building is so bad. Beating this without Protector or Medic is no joke but what that ends up meaning in the end is *having* to use Survivalist and Troubadour instead, and probably Dark Hunter also because of Bait. For what the Landsknecht is doing I'd imagine a Ronin would be better for the job but that would mean grinding it up all the way to Level 70, yeah. Massive W either way, cant wait to see you tackle EO2 again 😂.

Ronin would not be better. The fact that their stances count as buffs and Resolve can wipe it would result in them dealing less damage than the Landsknecht overall. There is no more icon limit. B27F is now fully mappable.

@@DrAraxxor Thank god for that. Honestly no wonder I got walled so hard by Primevil the time I actually used Ronin and Hexer, the two classes are completely ineffective against it. Do you know if they made some major changes for EO2?
