Koshiro himself confirmed in his KZbin channel that he wasn't involved at all with this game. Just sayin'. EDIT: Apparently the composer is a member of Supersweep. As in, the folks who scored the soundtrack of Megaman Battle Network Transmission.

That boss theme sounds interesting, it doesn't scream "boss battle" actually. It totally could have fit in a game with a somewhat bittersweet story whose bits you slowly piece together.

It seems like the idea was for it to be a more dramatic version of the random battle theme, though it ends up sounding more like a "sad" version.

I hunted down info on the game, there is very little but it was apparently a dumb card game that Atlus had nothing to do with it was made by Index and Gree and was as we all know rejected by everyone. It was basically reuse of various assets to make a card game that had none of the actual mechanics of the EO games.

CyberShinobiX This and that are different games. This was called Etrian Odyssey MOBILE and what you're talking about is Etrian Odyssey S.

i had thought they were one in the same as when i searched for both the only results i got were a couple brief mentions of S, i wonder what happened with MOBILE to make it so obscure i couldnt even find whispers of it.

CyberShinobiX I found an LP thing of MOBILE on a Japanese site when I first found out about the game. The stuff it had was super weird. I'll try finding the site again.

Damn, seems like a waste. From what I could make of it, it looked like it was a full-fledged, six stratum Etrian Odyssey game. A lot of the music is really decent too, not sure if Koshiro composed it, but it does a pretty good job at emulating his style.

RyanSim It is not. What you're referring to is the Gacha game they made. This was a game made for a flipphone that took most of EO1's assets.
