Despite the tense music, FOEs in this game are pretty easy until Stratum V. Still, Boulder Boars and Stalkers were pretty annoying the first time I fought them.

CheesyGranola I don't know. Ragelope still is a pain early on with that silly panicking move, and some other FOEs are better to steer clear of initially. The lizards on B14 especially are a pain in Story Mode unless you are built to be highly resistant to physical. Forest Demon the first time was an incredible pain, as were the Diabolix/Cruella double-teams on B19. It wasn't until the Bone Lizards on B21 I actually revised my opinion of "maybe I could take them" to "oh god why". Near TPK on Turn 2 with Devour, and Turn 3 was a loss as it killed off Simon before he could revive anyone.
