I absolutely love the Etro Vela bag! I have 2 of them, a medium and large and plan to use them for many years ahead. They are so timeless and beautifully made. ❤ I saw the medium in 2023 in an ad campaign and was instantly drawn to the design. Hello, may I ask how the gold hardware is holding up? I love this bag too but always worry about purchasing any bag that has a substantial amount of gold hardware (tarnish, etc) when it's not jewelry quality. Thank you!

This video popped up on my KZbin feed, after i'd been browsing Etro's website, earlier today. I have been a fan of Etro's clothes for a few years now. The vela bag is beautiful, and the brand has done such a good job with the colours, textures and sizes of the bag. I looked at all Etro's bag designs and some of them use polyester.

Interesting. I had purchased an Etro because the paisley is my favorite print and to my surprise my son’s friend fell in love and I passed it to her. So there is interest by the younger generation. Fendi is my favorite luxury brand, so it would be interesting to see the impact. Next year Fendi celebrates it centenary and I am so pleased that I did purchase the Selleria which was their first design on the Real real for a steal of a deal.

The Peekaboo is a bag I'm drawn to, but as I'm not sure how much I'd use it (it's a bit more structured than what I usually go for). These two are great alternatives, another one I've been looking at is the Trianon from Pourchet.

I don't believe you are talking about the etro vela. I saw it this summer in zurich in a department store and I loved it. I couldn't believe I saw nothing about it on youtube. I'm a little disappointed you are letting the cat out of the bag. I think the vela mini is the perfect evening bag which you can also wear crossbody during the day. I just can't decide whether to buy it in black or bordeaux.
