Convoy is hands down a better experience, no idiot players driving like dickheads, no power tripping moderaters, mod support is amazing and in general smooth as hell, I've already uninstalled TMP it's of no use anymore.

@@Unused67 It's just mods should be better trained or the recruiting process to be extremely strict, so only the best are able to become mods. It happened to me once that I accidentally clicked T and left my trailer behind, thus blocking a road. I turned right and stopped right after I noticed my trailer was left back and proceeded to F7 to clear the road, the whole thing taking around 5-6 seconds. Then I got a ban for blocking, the evidence (recorded by a mod) was only showing the trailer. If he'd have recorded me for like 2-3 seconds instead of just recording the stationary trailer, he'd had seen me F7-ing after turning right. As I wasn't recording at the time I had no way to show I F7'd right after. If the moderator was put in a real life job and fail to record useful footage, he'd get penalized or fired for that.

TMP had its run and it was OK-ish for the need it filled. But now SCS has stepped in and delievered a good multiplayer experience w/o the B.S. of TMP. Granted 8 players is kinda a small number, but the system was just released so in time i expect that number to get expanded. And the fact they made it mod friendly is the biggest selling point in my book.

Yeah but you have to realise that Convoy SCS mode has AI, has less players to sync with, you don't have to wait days, weeks or even longer to get update compatibility because its SCS and not some 3rd party people, and doesn't unorganised rules/moderators. mod support is a plus, but those 4 points alone just says it all.

SCS Convoy is much better than TruckersMP because different mods can be used for many things. Personally, I love using the realistic engine sounds of trucks.

In TruckersMP, the engine sounds can be customized in the settings. The generic ones have been implemented to optimize the performance.

lets not forget that TMP is with us for long time, and if we look to SCSMP well thats brand new later on there will be more updates for SCSMP At the beginning of TMP was almost the same as the new SCSMP 0:12 That can be affected by the computer specc of the user, if you look closer you can see the difference between P1&P2 1:15 I personally dont see much difference but what i know is, in TMP drivers lag more meanwhile overtaking. 2:33 SCSMP wins here you hear different engine sound in TMP 5:08 The sign's its nice that it breaks on SCSMP on the otherside TMP decided that way what can i say 6:50 Thats fixable if you drive an skoda in TMP thats is the same as it is now in SCSMP So in my opinion SCSMP is better here TMP was nice too but as we all know mostly Calais Duisburg road is where everyone is and thats because players want to see and feel the traffic.

SCS Software has done a great job on almost everything and is better than TruckersMP. The only thing missing is that there is no server with more than 4000 players like in TruckersMP.

Convoy is better in every way, but for me the only downside is that I can't enjoy the traffic jams with players from all over the world. Truckers MP is unstable, but there are many fun moments :)

You can't compare something official with something made by the community. TruckersMP was good, but now the convoys are much better. You can play quietly without idiots or unorganized moderators, with what mods you want and it's straight into the game, don't bother to install or update an third-party app. TruckerMP would still remain only for large groups. Not to mention that there is a better synchronization on the convoys and you also have traffic.

Convoy killed it. Not only you don't have to download a potentially malicious third party executable file to install it, but there's also traffic, it does not feel chaotic and there's only one admin, the one who created the server.

It is unfair to compare sync of local Convoy session vs hosted TruckersMP. Not that I expect vastly different results though. Also, conclusion is kinda strange, doesn't make much sense in a current form. Otherwise, good video!

@raf_ TruckersMP is not my employer, I am a volunteer. The thing is you won't have exactly the same result with Convoy in a wild. This test has favored a local network, which would only happen if you have 2 to 7 friends with computers in the same room or building. I don't think that's the case for 95% of us.

truckermp su mal trabajo esta en los moderadores que actúan de una forma que todo lo ven baneo , no analizan la jugada , yo por ejemplo voy solo guiándome con el gps y me marca a la siguiente curva doblar a la izquierda, y veo un auto a ful velocidad venir atras y se pone al lado derecho mio y yo bueno viendo que la pista esta marcada no adelantamiento solo procedi a ignorarlo y doblar y fuaa el auto me choca de costado y me reporta por segun el bloquearle el camino agrede. cuando la verdadera situación fue que nunca le cerre yo solo iba a voltear al otro lado , la culpa es del auto por querer adelantar. por culpa de los moderadores truckermp cada dia se esta quedando con menos gente.

Вы не понимаете и не реагируете на людей которые реально есть фанатами етой игры, в мультиплеер постоянно есть малыши которые специально таранят или мешают играть и забанить их не возможно они постоянно возвращаются,( есть даже слухи что ето нарочно сделанные боты)зато человека фаната етс2, какой-то дурак админ сразу даёт перманентный бан.
