"Be Demanding!" That's powerful in itself. Being born and raised in the South, you grow up being taught to be overtly respectful and mindful of people and not to act in a specific manner that would offend others. However, as I get older, I realize this mindset was birthed when people like me HAD to conduct themselves a certain way and had to be mindful not to offend others and be viewed as aggressive, rude, or non-conforming. I've been undergoing the process of self-growth and needed to hear that segment. Know and understand what you want. Be Confident. Be Demanding. Be Succesful.

The thing with these waiter and manager/owner stories is that the people in charge always tell waiters when to cut people off for stuff (in this example breakfast stopped a lil before 11am) but AS SOON as the managers/owners are approached they switch up because they don’t like the confrontation. They’re used to wait staff handling the confrontation. So it makes waiters look lazy or like they “weren’t trying” but really the managers/owners set rules and punk out and go against those rules THEY SET when they have to deal with customers complaints.

Excellent advice guys. I know within myself because of my S type personality that I can back off from confrontation to keep the peace , but whose peace am I really keeping ? Cuz I am not getting the outcome I want and I leave feeling dissatisfied. Thanks so much for these nuggets guys. Love the podcast.

Wow this is so amazing. I have been apart of the 88% all my life unfortunately. I been tryna change all my life but just couldn’t. Until this past July . I’ve been working hard on being more demanding and apart of 12%. Listening to this was life changing. From this day forward I will no longer give a f*** what people think and I will demand and not care so much what people think. ! I know it will challenging. Thinking of myself before I think of others and caring how I feel before anyone. ☄️

It almost seem like the agents selling the Portfolio were holding out to get more money. They answered too quickly. They didn't even allow time to cancel the bid with the individuals that won. People play too much. This is why you never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing.
