Etude #1, Ultimate Hand Technique Workshop Level Intermediate

This video is a demonstration of Etude #1, from the Ultimate Hand Technique Workshop book by, Henrique DeAlmedia. I have never before seen such a comprehensive book on technique. It is a must have for any serious drum student, player or teacher! I included some of the nomenclature for the stickings in the beginning of the video as it is very helpful in understanding the basic concept. This Etude incorporates single strokes, double strokes, diddle combinations, Moeller strokes, polyrhythms, form and phrasing. That's a lot to pack into 1 exercise and it's just the tip of the iceberg on what's in the book! This lesson is intended for the intermediate to advanced student as it does assume a certain level of technical proficiency.
