When you get big enough you dont care about AE , oe you just core the provinces bit by bit and have enough troops for rebels and for the economy I think with that much high dev provinces he makes quite a bit of money

Six months. But you can do it if you get good relations with electors of the HRE, also you have to be Christian i think.

@@Airland-xx3pr unless it changed since 1.34 you need good relations with Austria, be catholic specifically, have a province in the HRE or in its borders, have your capital in Europe and have less than 200 development to join. Then you need good relations with enough electors for them to elect you. The 200 development limit only applies when you want to join, after you're part of the HRE you can blob all you want that it won't change anything.

@@admontblanc Also you can become emperor without being part of the HRE, but I think you need to be somehow not very far of it, examples Spain, France, Poland, ect ect.
