Somehow I can understand why Arumba disabled the comments. Instead of trying to help or talk about the new mechanics etc. people only insult Arumba and are mad about him for playing the game differently than they would do.

How dare someone play a game differently than me. If I watch someone play a game better than me, they should play it exactly how I would play it better than me.

Nice, really constructive feedback... Arumba has a nack for getting out of troubling or harder moments in game, all this shit isn't helping him... either quit being bitchy fucks or shut the fuck up for those that are giving him constructive criticism or enjoying the videos.

Entwicklungskosten is German for "Development costs". It's pronunced like: Ent (like the living trees in LotR) wick (like in "Vickers") lungs (like "lung") kost (like "cost") en (like in "end")

4:45 -- Entwicklungskosten = research & development costs in Englandergabble. Neumark, pron. noy-mark. The 'nieuw' pronunciation is something English inherited from Low German (Dutch, Frisian, etc). 19:30 -- Dat Teutonic Prussian revolt. You did that Arumba. That was all you!

Imo the best start for brandenburg is rivaling pomerania and declaring war at the beginning, you dont even need claiims to vassalize them, and the emperor wont demand the provinces back. Sometimes they may ally denmark or oldenburg though. Maybe it depends on when exactly you rival them.

Tundra he still can, he'd just lose emperorship when he converts. Arumba needs to be admin tech 10 as well for prussia

Samuel Gabites keeping emperorship will still be worthwhile atleast. Since Austria isn't Emperor anymore. You could call them into more wars
@1993Redemption6 жыл бұрын
Just a guess cuz I haven't seen every second of his videos: he couldn't get a good peace deal with the Teutons because he didn't take a fort during the war, which give you a BS -1000 penalty when it comes to taking any provinces while suing for peace.

They said somewhere that each institution is meant to spawn in a different area so if you got a bit of a tech penalty you will get it early with another one, like colonialism is meant to spawn around Iberia/England while Renaissance spawns in Italy (obviously)
@harbl998 жыл бұрын
Flemish lands were a big deal in the 15th-16th century (they were part of what make Burgundy and then Spain into great powers). Golden Age of Holland was 17th century. Totally period appropriate.

AI selling provinces that they start with, have state core has to be a bug. I saw Serbia do it in another LP and now Teutons. Why haven't they sold their 100 Autonomy Mazovian lands but a great NOT SQUARE MEMEL. It's a province with trade modifier too. Makes no sense that one would sell a province to make less money from trade in their home node. How is Poland elective monarchy in this patch? Still drooling retards for heirs the likes o 0-2-0 or 1-1-1? :/ Let Arumba derp a little in new DLC. His real game in Rights of Man is Ragusa right? Rest is just test drive like Holand in Mare Nostrum.
@guaymaster8 жыл бұрын
Poland was an elective monarchy in this time period... Rulers are as RNG as normal for poland. It is in fact a good government type! You get no regencies and can strike royal marriages. You get bonus to conversion depending on an event that is ruler-tied. Regency problems are a lot less important now, as there are Queen regencies now.
@SleepnDreamn8 жыл бұрын
In Mare Nostrum I have seen Poland get a monarch of stats between 0 - 2 back to back. This made them lag in mil tech early on and had them case to be a major eastern power. They fell to Teutons and Russia. In another LP I saw few good leaders being pushed on Polish elective monarchy throne and the player even got decent local heir. Too bad Bohemia managed to push their 1-1-1 in his face because he didn't have Prestige to save his nation from doom. Its also RNG that a crap monarch gets +1 even at lower % chance than anyone of stats above 3. You can insult them, mark their land as vital interest and they will still push their heir as if nothing happened. Only being at war helps :( Was asking if they still get really bad monarchs now that they are no longer lucky nation. I think Wiz on Paradox forum commented that the monarch stats were probably too low and this might be addressed in Rights of Man. Do you still need to use prestige to push local rulers or is there something else that easier to get early on?
@guaymaster8 жыл бұрын
I think you still need prestige. I've been using Elective Monarchy in a custom nations game, and got nice results. I've had 6-5-5 and 2-1-1s alike.
@SleepnDreamn8 жыл бұрын
Well it's only bad for Poland since they start focused on admin (relic of old PU decision needing +1 stab). Their 1 mil PU leader does not contribute much to their military might. Everyone around them might get far better monarch point generation (Hungarian regent, his heir if not Habsburg, Teutons, Ottomans, Muscovy heir). Does AI even use Monarch point focus or is aware of each category worth?
@vincents.63108 жыл бұрын
Teutons probably sold their province because they can't reach it, they need money for the war, and its a brandenburger core anyways
