In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4 1.36 King of Kings) video we will be voiding the entire map outside of one single province per subcontinent, where we will let each subcontinent be represented by a single nation as one province. Those nations will be responsible to repopulating the world and creating the map we will see!

I'm curious to see what happens if there is no Government Capacity limit. So AI nations can state all the provinces and not worry about going over Gov Cap. Extra points if devving is free (or as cheap as can be), so AI can go crazy with it.

I did a full 1821 run with Italia, using IF vassal swarm. Then, shortly before the end date, i formed rome, and realized there were a ton more missions! Now i'm gonna do it again lol. Great mod!

The protestant reformation didn't happen because the MTTH for the event is 4000 months (333 years) at 100% reform desire. With at least 125% reform desire, it goes down to about 2360 months (196 years). This low chance is usually offset by having many different nations.

This was a pretty cool run. I really like the adition of the -50% colonial range, it's way more fun with the AI grabbing everything close to them instead of just rushing for high value provinces. One thing tho, how does the mod deal with institutions? It maybe a good idea to add like a flat +1 institition growh modifier or smth like that so the Europeans don't get an unnecessary advantage the first 200 years if you ever do another one of these free for all colonization videos

If Paradox ever does EU5, they need to represent the Development of the world a lot better. The complete development advantage Western Europe has in 1444 doesn't make a whole lot of sense IRL. Most European cities at that point were much smaller in both size and population than places in Asia. Only until the mid 1500s did Euro cities begin actually rivaling Asian cities in size and population. Even Tenochtitlan was thought to be bigger than any city in Europe, with only Constantinople coming close.

The reformation could not happen, because the event cannot fire in a country that is the defender of faith. The event needs the country to have their capital in Europe, not be the Papacy, and not a defender of the faith. So after Hansa gobbled up those small catholic nations that popped out, it became the only catholic country, the defender of faith, and no way to lose the defender of faith. So as long as there is only one catholic nation, that is the defender, the event cannot fire, ergo no reformation.
