If you use the return core interface instead of transferring occupation and giving directly through the cede province screen, you’ll get a huge relations boost from feeding your vassals. This would’ve allowed you to annex Andhra immediately after the war

@20:30 Although Bijapur's Deccani Sultanate ideas are nice, if you form Deccan they get even better. (Admin efficiency, discipline, morale, ICA, etc.) But yes, having to wait until tech 18 is a little ridiculous.

Many a time I use deccan ideas + mughal gov reforms to finish WC started with relatively weak nation in Asia/Africa ...it makes life better (examples are kilwa and lesser east African tags - GG economy,joke army mid-late game, almost all Malaya stuffz - again GG moniez and lackluster army) - in both cases it feels natural to have India as vital part of Indian ocean ducat printer ...why not use mughal ideas instead deccan (op in their own right)? 5adm EFF I like more than extra CCR late game + deccan to mughal leaves one with mughal missions (many of them likely to auto complete by virtue of already owning all India)😊 Anyway really strong idea set and perhaps among the best ones outside europe... Just makes such a noticeable difference in a game even considering the cost of culture shift that late in a campaign❤ Obviously it is even better as natural path for a south Indian polity and perhaps the reason why Bharat gets 5 adm EFF and Hindustan does not

I don’t know what goes through the minds of Paradox when they decide what admin tech someone needs to have to form certain nations. For something like Germany, it makes sense that admin 20 is required since it’s going to take a while to conquer all the HRE provinces you need, but something like Egypt as the Mamluks is baffling. In order to form Egypt, literally all you need is admin 20, since the Mamluks start with all the provinces needed to form it, so if you want to form Egypt you can literally just sit there and do nothing, bare minimum not losing provinces to something like the Ottomans, and wait until admin 20. Forming Arabia isn’t much better, since it shouldn’t take you more than 50 years in a regular campaign to conquer the region, but it still requires admin 20. I just don’t get it, man.
