You have your probing doing what I had to do to fix my Creality machines so it was probing in a uniform fashion so I got an equal mesh representing the positions that the nozzle reached

Is there other advantages over the BL-Touch than being able to get it out of the carriage while printing ?

Great question - the advantages I see are as follows: 1) Far more durable equipment - I've had print failures that have caught the pin on the bltouch and bent it, requiring me to bend it back, recalibrate, or replace the pin and recalibrate. 2) No servo commands/interference issues - The Euclid doesn't require a servo pin, doesn't require 3.3v or 5v signalling, all it technically needs is two pins, signal and ground, and its a simple closed/open circuit check. makes it far more reliable 3) Heat resistance: The standard Euclid is good to 70-80 chamber temp. There are high temp versions on the way that should be good to 120C temp. 4) Probe Speed - Since its just a microswitch, you can probe fast and probe multiple times quickly instead of waiting for the long probe to deploy and retract.
