The only composer in the world who touches eternity.

Not to be condescending, please forgive me if I’m talking your statement more literally than it was intended.. but that statement is so black and white to me that I feel the inclination to encourage you to attempt to expand your horizons.. because she is most definitely not “the only.” Just one of a number who achieves an expression and communion with eternity, in her own particular ways.

@@user-yv6xw7ns3oListening to music is a very personal experience and I just express my experience. Yours might be different. To me her music is outstanding and singular, but that does not mean that there are no other great musicians and composers. In the world of electronic music for example Pauline Oliveras and Laurie Spiegel. Kar Heinz Stockhausen or Morton Subotnik. And many, many more.

i love it, cool to see the orchestra up close, some dudes have dodgy hair, they will probably survive! :p. Not all of them master the circular breathing method but that also generates some wavelike drone sounds. i hope the audience is ok, they sounded like there a tuberculosis outbreak going on.. thanks for uploading

I wish I were a native of France, where classically trained musicians are ready and eager to embrace the extraordinary.

I've never heard anything like this. Sometimes it reminds me of Ligeti or the Cage number pieces, but then it's totally different. It's amazing to have one's breath taken away just by the simple fact of pure, unvarnished sound.

What a deeply concentrated performance. This is not easy to play at all, I take a bow. Thank you very much.

I am slightly familiar with Elaine Radigue’s work. Was this composed for orchestra or did she write it for her electronic work? I really like this-all her pieces.

Too late, the recording is finished. I sometimes suspect that there must be internationally operating cougher clubs that have competitions running who does the best placed cough. First price an abonnement for a year.

I always thought people coughed more in the quiet parts in concerts - someone has actually done a study of the cough phenomenon...and it's true!
@Stirlingv82 жыл бұрын
Indeed - There was a study. I haven't done one, but oddly enough, in repeated concerts, audiences always cough in the same places. It's like they are following the score...

yes you are wrong - music is a human thing, made for humas by humans, humans happen to have bodies... music isn't just aethereal sound - it's something else, regarding all it's happening during a performance. so the people listening to the music are part of the music, their presence is part of the music, their sounds, too. if you can't find concentration because of "coughs" is a problem of yours: it's you that are lacking concentration.
