NyonyaFixie I think the fact that he speaks Hawaiian English (??) has also something to do with his uncertainty. Sometimes I'd think he made a mistake but I'd see people in the comments saying that it's typical Hawaiian English (?)

Larry InfiresMe I agree I think phrases and idioms are different so people may say it’s not textbook english but my best friend who is from Hawaii (was born there and moved here) says she can tell he’s studied in hawaii not the other states sometimes

Why not?? Remember he was a international student for 4 years, he was not born there. You can see there are so many people live in English countries over 4 years but worse than him. English is my 2nd language and I know 4 years for that English skill is actually good haha 😂

He may be can’t speak fluently but His English was pretty good compare to others who cannot speak and understood english. Note: he only lives in Hawaii for 4yrs not he was born there lol
