ㄹㅇ 너무 당연하게 빙그레가 쓰레기 좋아했던 걸로 봤었는데 생각보다 사람들 몰라서 당황... 응칠에서도 호야가 서인국 좋아했다가 정은지랑 결혼한다고 해서 친구로 남으려고 정리하는 장면 나오고, 딱 호야처럼 성정체성에 혼란 느끼는 인물이 응사에서는 빙그레였는데.. 그래서 맨 처음에는 응칠에서 호야가 빨간 차타고 가는데 그 차에 타고 있는 게 빙그레다 둘이 이어진 거다 이런 저런 추측들도 엄청 많았던 걸로 기억함

They do have movies where characters were gay and stayed that way in movies and shows. Changing/Night flight is one, the story is dark but ends up as a heartwarming conclusion. In the movie Futureless Things , Gong Myung and Shin Jae Ha do kiss but it it no a movie about their relationship.Just friends and many others but you have to search really good.

I think it just a bromance. But if you wanna know, There's some character that portrayed as a gay, like in reply 1997 or some dramas and movies. Actually korean is not that homophobic. It just a lil bit taboo. Just like any Asian country outthere. And also, reply series was never meant to be a gay themed drama. In this series the trash and binggeurae never said that they are a gay. Ever since the 1st episode you can tell that trash oppa loves najung only. It just because binggeurae and trash care for each other. Not every love between two men considered as gay.

@@好き菅田くん Reply 1997 is a horrible example of a gay storyline. Hoya's character was pure queerbaiting. Throughout the entire drama his only personality trait was him being in love with Yoonjae and nothing else. When Korea does venture into LGBT characters almost all of them end up being either stereotypes or having no substance. And coming from an actual gay person who has been in Korea, its also very much a homophobic country, as is the rest of Asia making a few exceptions (Thailand and Taiwan).

Everyone be talking about how the "gay theme" was used for clout, etc but tbh if you really watch the full drama, Baro's sexuality is an area left completely in the tray zone, meaning we don't know if he could be bi. Also this is a drama set in the 90s where many MANY people just hid their sexuality. Another explanation could be that Baro was simply still confused as coming into himself and his identity but realised later on the track that he really is just straight. Plus in many Korean dramas they add characters like these for the effect of "bromance", some of y'all looking too deep into all this lmao. It's just differences in culture and the way films portray certain things, it doesn't always mean they're homophobic, it may not even have been the writer's intention to make it seem that way at all. Also I thought Baro and that girl were just as cute lmao
