Eunice unnie, thank you for taking us on skincare shopping detours with you throughout this horrible and stressful year. Very well said, collagen in skincare products are essentially “marketing gimmicks” as collagen particles are bigger than our skin’s semi-permeable membrane openings. A lot of people don’t realise this. I’m not necessarily saying taking collagen orally or intravenously is better though 😅

LOL I love Sidmool, it is the brand with the "ancient" looking products at 12:10!! Some of their products have literally saved my skin last winter and are now saving it again after starting tretinoin. If you have the chance to try the products, please do. The brand is cruelty-free and afaik most products are vegan and also fragrance-free. I especially love the Dr. Troub skin returning ceramide adhesion cream, it sinks in like a DREAM and doesn't make my skin look or feel oily and I'm combo/acne prone. And it actually has a high content of ceramides! Another moisturizer I adore is the royal honey peptide one, it's so cheap but not every k-beauty online shop carries it so it can be hard to get. The brand is kinda underrated tbh and it's beyond me, maybe it is the packaging? idk

I am glad that over the counter vitamin A products become a trend in Asian market in 2020. Western skincare which more focusing on stronger active ingredients influences a bunch of local brands in my country to develop and produce similiar items with cheaper price as well. That aside, the cream from Dr. Different is well loved by Soo Beauty, but I never know it would be THAT expensive! I really wanna try one if it's somehow in the price range of The Ordinary 😅

I really loved that you mentioned Tamanu oil. I actually found out about the smell after buying Tosowoong's 100% tamanu oil. But it works so I just finally accepted the smell...does not mean I like it. The results are the best!! Ordinary's serums, the foam/stickyness are frustrating. I still love their Niacinamide, it helps with my sebum production. I'm not as oily as I use to be in the past. This was so much fun! Cheers! Happy New Year!!

In case Euni or eunicorns are curious I've been using dr different vita a cream for a few months and it's okay for sensitive skin(I have very sensitive skin that is prone to dermatitis). You just have to build up your tolerance to using it. so maybe once or twice a week, then every other night, and finally every night. They even recommend on the packaging to do this in case you forget! Just make sure you use good soothing products or cream with it and wear sunscreen the next day if you're going to be exposed to UV.

@17:00: Does anyone wash their face in home made organic green tea water on their day off beauty day? I make it as suntea on my desert porch, chill it on the porch and wash, rinse, tone and mask my face and body skin in it...then sip a couple of liters of it throughout the day (replacing H2O). Anecdotal report at best: but I glow from inside out. ❤️
