It's very taxing on the CPU. Takes a lot of processing. That's why they cut it down in GTA V, compared to GTA IV. Red Dead Redemption made full use of Euphoria because there's less going on in the vast open spaces compared to the bustling cities.

Ron Thunders GTAV had an extremely toned down physics engine compared to IV. It sucked so bad that I cannot fathom why they would use it both on last and current gen. Shooting NPCs in GTAV sucks dick. Red dead 2 will SUCK compared to V if it doesn't have euphoria.

Looking back at these 7th gen tech demos really goes to show how little the 8th generation of gaming did. It is very obvious that AAA studios phoned it in and cashed out in the 8th gen, and while this may be detrimental to the AAA market (well at least the quality of the market), this has led to this generation having the best indie games of any generation.

@@sethmoneygetter 3 years later I show up to explain that yes. Real World has its own physics but try pushing a mannequin down... even one with ligaments and joints. It won't act like a human. Which is why something like Euphoria on a robot would make it act natural and not like... well... a slab of metal.
