Every school has its own “culture” or what everybody accepts as cool, so if there’s this high production play going on about some drama going down between some of the popular girls, I think it’s safe to say the school probably thinks it’s cool to be there. Either that or they could skip class by being there

Rue and Lexi spoke after Lexi had emailed her a copy of the script which they spoke about in the bathroom/Oklahoma scene. Rue probably read it after she got sober and they had that conversation and then Lexi included it in the play and that’s why Rue says for the first time she don’t hate herself because Lexi sees her as a victim and she sees her best friend, whom she still loves very much. That’s why the play was beautiful to her. Their daddy issues and traumas, instead of tearing them apart, ended up bringing them together, because Lexi‘s father is an addict Rue and is a former one herself and she knows their mindset. She gave Lexi some sort of peace by saying he loves you, but he’s not at the point where he wants to get sober. Like you said Lexi’s daddy issues are with a small d compared to Cassie’s with a large case D but she still has them. Lexi is the one person who never forced Rue to drink or to do drugs. She might of enabled her by giving her her pee, however, she always tried her best to be there for Rue and to be a positive influence and I think their friendship ended up surviving and actually thriving in the last months of high school because they’re both in places where Lexi has dealt with her trauma through the play and Rue has dealt with hers through both watching the play and getting sober. I truly believe Rue and Jules are done, they met at a very chaotic time in their lives, and while they might have worked during those times, we’re not sure that they would’ve worked as people in the current phases of their lives, so I think them breaking up is just what is best with no hard feelings. Maddie if anything feels bad for Cassie but is done with her because Cassie saw the abuse and the trauma Nate put her but still went for him so she’s just letting her know he’s gonna get worse and you’re gonna be trapped in this cycle and I’m not gonna watch that shit show. I’m pretty sure the fans remembered the suitcase more than the writer/creator. And even if let’s say, Laurie got arrested with Fez why not show it? You know? now, it just looks like they forgot that Rue owes a fucking drug dealer that Fezco buys drugs from $50,000, and she nearly kidnapped and probably would’ve sold Rue

Of course they skipped Dominic Fike’s cringy song. It was so extraneous. Maddy and Cassie ended their fight because Maddy already let out her rage during the play, knowing that Cassie will be trapped in Nate’s cycle of abuse like she was. Maddy is completely done with Cassie, who’s now in a Hell of her own making.
