That's what love about his character. He's lived a hard life, having to grow up very fast, not having the best guidance. Yet, he has a heart. You can tell by the sandwich comment, how he takes care of his grandma, how he looks out for Rue, etc. He's hood, gangsta and a hustler but has that soft, humane spot that balances him out and makes him likeable.

It's almost kind of eerie how I find a piece of myself, either now or from the past, in all of these characters........well maybe not Nate 😆 They'll say something or have an experience that is just like something I've gone through. Plus, when they do the sum-ups after the episodes have finished, they verbalize many emotions that I've gone through in ways that I wasn't able to when they were happening to me in those moments. This show is like therapy for me.

Yes, it's a huge struggle for females of all ages honestly. I sure could've used this show when I was a teen because I definitely thought that I was the only one dealing with insecurities. Back then, I used to suppress my thoughts and feelings because people around me didn't have the depth to them that I needed, in order to feel like they could understand me. For instance, I would have needed someone like Ali (the diner episode with Rue) growing up to listen to me and understand where I was coming from. But since I didn't, I'm just now dealing with a lot of stuff from back then. This show is like therapy for me and so are the comment sections of the Euphoria threads. It's comforting to know that so many others have felt the same way.

Nate doesn't like women at all just based on how he treats them and how easily every girl he encounters is disposable to him. I will say he is attracted to Jules and if he and his family accepted that side of himself, he would be with Jules today. I feel like he likes Cassie so much because she's an acceptable version and the closet thing he can get to Jules. He knows he can't bring someone home who isn't a white biological woman. He has to follow in his fathers footsteps in order to be accepted in his dad's eyes.

The show alludes to there be something more there with them. I def think since rue and Jules are props going to stop dating at the end of this season Jules and Nate are props going to be a new plot line

YES!!!!!! He's the reason I watch it!!!! I've seen this week all the actors who have signed already for Season 3 and no one mentions his name so I'm worried!!!! I know they're all filming other movies and have busy schedules, so idk if he just doesn't wanna fully commit yet or if they know he is a popular character, so they're just gonna tease us and not tell us if he's coming back or not!!!!

exactly! and in the beginning sam says “throughout the second episode there’s a reoccurring idea of desire. the difference between what the characters say they want versus what they actually want.” and while rue is explaining that nate is in love with cassie and is imagining a life with her we see all the flashes of jules.

Euphoria is the best aesthetic show ever made, there could be no dialogue at all and I would still watch it for hours, this show is so beautiful to watch. Honestly I’m glad to be living in this era to witness this masterpiece.
