Because in the 1980s the so-called Children Advocates were SO UPSET 😡 by Looney Tunes like "the coyote and roadrunner" with anvils and frying pans that the innocent children would immitate this behavior. SO they forced the animation studios to make cute little cartoons just for kiddies, and give good moral advice, with shows like "Gummie Bears", or "SMURFS" with the theme song 🎵 that goes " La la, la la , la la...." that is so simple that they'll sing it all day!! With simple messages about protecting their tiny village from the giant mean humans. But then there was shows for older kids with "Captain Planet", but it didn't last long. But still they knew there was a larger audience with older teenagers. So the invented the Big Adventure Shows, like "Thundercats" that was produced in America 🇺🇸 but the animation was made overseas. Yet again the Japanese Anime styles were just barely starting to appear with BIG NAMES , like "Voltron", or "Battle of the Planets" that included the "A-List" of Vocal Performers!! In many different shows, and roles. And they have given us classic kids from the '80's some of the best cartoons and animated performances that can stand the test of time ⏲ 😄 🙌 👌 👏 even now 40 years later in 2022A.D. And bringing in newer and younger fans, who have since been watching the newest crops of lame cartoons that are just plain Gross 😝 !! But they forgot to include the good moral messages on purpose, but just don't bother. Instead just hide your head, and draw the Most Gross image's 😝 that barely pass the censorship board but only if 1 still existed, but it ain't there anymore!! The 1980s classic cartoons have been called just toy commercials. Yet, they have given us a vast collectors market, with high values on Ultra-Rare items that can both make money 💰 🤑 💸 for some but lose money for others. But the other batch of modern Gross cartoons don't have any collectors items whatsoever!!!!! Thus: Take a lesson, and Learn from the past 👌 😉 💯 😌 🙂 👏, and make Really Good Cartoons, that can stand the test if time, and you and your companions, and artists both in front, and behind the camera, can point 👉 👈 👇 😀 with Pride, and Proudly say that "YES!! WE DID THAT!!!!! Back in the 1980s. And also now in the 2020's!!!!! O.K.!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!! GOD BLESS THE U.S.A 🇺🇸 🙌 🙏 ❤!!!!! ALLELUIA!!!!! AMEN!!!!! M.4.18.22.A.D.

You know what's weird? As a kid, I always expected this theme whenever the tank came onscreen. But Panthro had such a deep connection to it-- no one else really knew how to drive let alone fix or upgrade the thing-- that I just assumed he either had two themes or they were just the same track slightly modified. I guess the 8 year old me was a lot more intuitive than I would have expected. =)
