Hi. For those concerned with heavy downpours;. The material used in this one, specially it's rainfly is one of the best I've seen at any price.

I bought this tent for an 8 day canoe trip and I have used it many more times since and its one of my favorites. I own some lighter and more expensive tents but every time i take this tent out the extra pound of pack weight is so worth it. It makes for a very spacious 1 man with your gear inside and you will have no risk of condensation contact on your sleeping bag, however it is still decent for two people if you put your bulky gear in its huge vestibule (seriously when the vestibule is staked out it is massive). I love the overhead storage loft. Other pro's: minimal condensation, good ventilation, decent weight and pack size, easy setup and takedown, actual freestanding (i had to set it up with no stakes outs one night and it worked fine, although i wouldn't recommend it in heavy wind or rain), great value for the price. With such a heavy flood of cheap camping gear online and in stores now its a real gamble buying unknown brands, but Eureka actually seems to be putting out quallity stuff.

I have this tent. It's great. Thumbs up on the video, though I would have liked it even better had you shown what it looks like from being on the inside of the tent. That's a factor (what's it look from the inside) that some people want to know before they buy.

After seeing the solo version of this tent, i decided to give it a closer look at this model as i'm trying to finally settle on a tent for an AT thru hike next year. After a bit of research, your video totally sold me on this tent and it's next on my gear purchase list.

Finally got it and it is a great tent at a right price. Very nice size and weight for carrying with a pack. Thanks again for the review!

JP JPJP hows it holding up?

Off trail now due to medical issues..Waldo-The tent was just fine. Easy set up and take down and very roomy inside. Would suggest going with aftermarket stakes to cut down on weight a bit more since every ounce counts on the AT.

Nice review! I read in a lot of places the actual weight is around 2 kg. What's the actual trail weight for this tent? And do you think it can take high winds?
@ureviews7 жыл бұрын
Shalom, the weight that I mentioned in the video is everything. I was in a sustained very windy situation and the tent held like a champ.

I live in it full time in Hawaii and it has endured 60 mile hurricanes no problem and I didn’t even put up extra cords

There’s a vestibule for a reason! Put your gear there! This tent definitely fits 2 people.
@ureviews6 жыл бұрын
Oh it will fit very slender 2 adults but with zero space to move. And that was my point. Just something to be aware.
@Lucario9d6 жыл бұрын
ureviews and that’s the case for all 2 person tents. It’s meant for two people with their pads. It’s not meant to be the Taj Mahal. It’s meant to sleep 2 people.

I always calculate my tents as amount of people+1. You simply need more room. in a pinch and must... sure.

Probably about the buy the #3 design soon, which is kinda funny as I was most likely going to go with a non free standing for that extra simplicity / longevity, yet it is what it is...free standings have their uses too...and the only other small tent this company makes is far more like a bivouac which completely sucks as you can't even situp in it...so this is the way to go :)

Did you have any condensation inside after your Down pour nice video thanks
@ureviews6 жыл бұрын
Condensation is a not a one variable condition... In my case when it rained, no. But it could easily happen in any single canopy tent.

@@ureviews I have a Midori 6. It vents so well that condensation have never bothered us, a group of four. Mine is a little too tight on the top of the inner mesh. What I do is work my way up as I put the clips in the poles and that's it. Really good tent, completely satisfied. The quality of the materials is impressive.

Would it fit someone who is 6'2" comfortably? Cant decide between the midori 1, solitaire, or mountain warehouse! Thanks!

I'm 6.1 so I think yes. But the 1 is crazy tight

Is the tent good enough for weather like Canadian Fall?
@ureviews3 жыл бұрын
It's a 3 season tent. I was comfortable with it at around 33f. But I have a nice cold temp sleeping bag. Perhaps someone else had experience with lower temps could comment.
