It sounds like your videoing this tutorial right beside an old wringer washing machine with out the lid closed or perhaps a wind machine to a wind machine making the sound of the wind & water with ocean winds, or l like your right beside an old fashioned wringer washing machine. you mentioned isn’t as annoying as the worshing sound throughout the video. I will stop, and come back to this tutorial to see if it is a problem on my end,'¡"" that helps. I’m known by family & close friends to make & bead wedding garters. Last Nov. we were in Texas & visited a Christmas store that had some unique bicone beaded ice-make my own version of beaded ice- cycles. I made the first ones for myself to see how they would look. I was so happy with the results. It reminded me of having your tree draped with that old silver tensile we used in my youth, but without the mess or tangling & mess of that plastic that you couldn’t get it off or would stick to your clothes or carpeting because of the static electricity. round beads. In my pictures of our tree last Christmas, appeared to be full of light even without the lights on. Even the photos almost give you the illusion of leacycles the my tree was so festive the lights yearcould look like & I became a believer cycles out of beads of them mak R On Tuesday I got a chance to see a dear friend who now lives in FL. She suggested I start making beaded ornaments for the seasons. I had never considered doing this before, however, I have such a gnnñjmmyhmthis is the fitdv

Can you tell me if I can modify this pattern to make it wider at the crown and longer in length. Is there a certain amount that I need to adhere to in changing the dimensions? Please advise. I'm looking to do this netted stitch around a wine bottle. Please advise. Also, I'm subscribed to you and follow you. Can you do this bottle/wine bottle tutorial? Thanks for helping a newby continue to grow!
@EurekaCrystalBeads Жыл бұрын
Putting this net on a bottle seems like such a great idea! When it comes to the width of that first circle, I'd suggest just putting more beads in a section, so you have 11 sections with 4 beads in each - try to make it 5 beads. If that's too much, only add a bead to some of the sections or put a smaller bead in each instead of the same size bead. When it comes to length you can add length just by adding sections of seed beads + bicone; as long as in that first long string of beads you have an odd number of bicones, it will all add up, there will be just more of the net. Another way is to make the sections with seed beads longer by adding more beads to each section between bicones, but at some point this would stop looking so pretty. Hope this helped!

Interesting! All the other tutorials I've seen use horizontal rows of beads rather than vertical columns of beads. I'll have to try this way and see if I like it better. Thank you for the hint! (If you break the ball, you just have to cut the very bottom row - the one connecting the picots - and redo it once the net is on a new ball.)

Thank for the tip Regina! Let us know how you make out ✨

@@EurekaCrystalBeads I loved it! Doing it vertically gives it a much different feel (more flowing rather than swag-y since the connecting beads are vertical rather than horizontal) and makes it much easier to figure out how many beads to add to take you all the way to the bottom. Thanks again!

Hi. I know this is a year old now but I was wondering if there was formula needed to figure out how long your unit needed to be if you used different beads. I tried to make it following the basic idea but with different beads and it wouldn't lay correctly over the ball. It was bunching up like pants that are too tight LOL Plus my ball requires 50 seed beads to go all the way around the neck snugly. Thanks.
@EurekaCrystalBeads2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I am not sure if there is a specific formula, it just took me some trial and error to figure out how to make it look good with the beads and ornament I had. We are going to have a new version of this tutorial coming hopefully soon! Thanks for watching!

Hi, for this pattern what size is the ball. I've found 3.14" and 2.36"
@EurekaCrystalBeads Жыл бұрын
Hi Cathy! The net is fairly flexible, so you don't need to follow specific measurements. If your ball looks roughly similar in size to the ones in the video, it will work! What's important is that the initial bead circle fits around the little metal/plastic thing on top.
