Eurmax Canopy: Premium Upgrade - Our Standard Level Canopy Got Destroyed

High winds finally took out our Eurmax Standard Level Canopy because I did not tie down the 4 upper corners. The legs and frame were bent beyond repair in 40 to 50 mph gusts! We've been so happy with this canopy that we had to replace it but we bumped up to the next Level of canopy... their Premium model.
Still made out of steel but with Hexagon shaped legs and 1/2" thicker. We hope this canopy will take us through the next several years. Check out the video for some specs and more information on the other even MORE robust Pro and Beyond models!

Beautiful Informative, Detailed & Straightforward Review. Thank you 🙏 Brother. We are looking to get our second canopy. The value & versatility is just hard to beat for $248. We have a van 🚐 & this set up is just perfect with all the 4 included walls Etc. Plus it stands alone. MoonShade was another option for $600. It’s more portable but less durable & doesn’t stand alone & doesn’t include any walls for the $600 price tag. Just too hard to justify paying more & getting less with the XL MoonShade vs. the Eurmax Canopy. Thank you 🙏 again

Ya I was crushed too! Didn't really have the $ for that at the time but we use it so often! Since I had the opportunity I had to upgrade. I would have went with a 10x15 but then I wouldn't be able to use our DMS Canopy.

Back to back reviews. The title graphics are so good. Are those stock on your editing software or is that an extension pack? Always love a great movie reference. Adding the story telling is a great touch. You didn’t too sad, you got to upgrade.

Ya I thought about putting this video after the next adventure video but I really wanted the Eurmax video to get out there to maybe help with our seasonally lagging views. The other 2 videos on this topic did really well so... Everything I use title-wise is stock to Davinci Resolve. You can add animations to them though to jazz them up a bit. Haha no, I would have rather saved the $$ but we use this SO often I had to replace it... and might as well upgrade when you do right? ;-) We'll see how the KZbin gods treat this video. The Durston video from last week is doing better than a trip video but not as great for a review... again, probably the time of year. We'll see!

@@DMSAdventures For us this is usually the peak for us and then drops off mod November till Spring Break Starts. Luckily I have a huge back log I still need to edit. When it gets cold we usually take a break on travel. You do such a great job on these videos.

How do you customize the top with company name and logo?

You have to contact Eurmax directly through their website. www.eurmax.com In my experience they are not super responsive but i eventually got through to them. You provide them with the graphic file and even the font you want and they take it from there. The process was smooth and easy. So the hardest part is just getting the ball rolling!!

Why would aluminum legs be better and more expensive than steel ones? I imagine aluminum will buckle a lot easier than steel.

I believe it has to do with aluminum weighing much less than steel. The strength to weight ratio is better with aluminum perhaps. I'd have to dig into the numbers to be 100% sure.
