I bought this wey Mocha model. My avatar can fully prove that it has strong scientific and technological auxiliary functions, a strong power system, of course, a very luxurious interior and a very good NVH. While mainstream auto makers slept, Tesla showed the world that electric cars can work. While the old school manufacturers have been rushing around like headless chickens, trying to catch up to Tesla, some Chinese manufacturers have caught up to the old school manufacturers and are now making more than good enough vehicles at a significantly lower price point. It's funny how those old manufacturers, who shouted out about how dynamic and technologically advanced they were, are looking like an old family siting on rocking chairs reading the news from a newspaper.

Look at it from the bright side, this will actually spark European, US, Korean and Japanese legacy makers to modernize. Let us also not forget most the US car industry is outdated and behind, TSLA being the only real (but ofc very noteworthy) exception. Same goes for Japan, except they don't have a TSLA.

@@HandsomeMoose Actually,the GWM names their cars like this in purpose...In order to attract some individual consumers.Many other Chinese manufacturer like Geely often make cars with common names abroad.And another Chinese premium brand Hongqi uses English alphabets and numbers just like European and American manufacturers.

@@acicmcc4229 I know. But I really wonder what consumer group would think different coffee types are good names for cars. Another example could be the Ora Cat that was also tested now by Euro Ncap. Will the next modell be larger and called Dog? Got to love names like Thunder Power EV though. Probably a cultural question. Its a good thing you can have different names for different markets. Even if that can become confusing sometimes. Alphanumeric names are probably the safest way to go.

In fact, it is now a hot topic in all the Chinese car forums to discuss why GWM has given its cars all kinds of stupid names. GWM is considered very reliable in China, on par with Toyota, but I believe the majority of Chinese people don't like GWM's names.
