Euro Nymphing (Norn-Irish nymphing) for loads of brown trout early season. Great technique to catch fish after fish for competitive fishing or just for fun.
I use a 12 metre tapered carp mono attached to my fly line. From that I attach between 8-10 inces of orange backing braid as an indicator as it floats and is highly visible. From that depending on the depth of water between 5-10 foot of tippet with either 2 or 3 flies. In regards to nymphs my 3 favorite go to nymphs would be pheasant tails with silver tungsten beads, perdigons and stripped quill olive nymphs with a silver tungsten bead.
