Euro Truck Simulator 2 Actros E5 V8 Open Pipe WiP sound

Hi all,
Our friend Dotec recorded an Euro 5 Actros.
He recorded the truck with both stock exhaust and without it, the truck has a valve to switch from stock to open pipe exhaust.
In this video i show you the work in progress of the open pipe sound.

@@DIONSC I did use Schumi's reworked MP3 a while ago. You can check SCS Forum for good mods, Dotec also has Actros MP2 and MP3 versions there. After having severe game crashes with so many mods used at the same time, I ditched all but engine ones.

Question, will older sound mods from the 1.39 version of the game work for 1.40? I'm about to get back into ETS2 but I pretty much can't play without Kreichbaum sounds. Will the old ones work or do I have to stick to only driving trucks that have a working 1.40 sound mod? Thanks for any info you guys can provide!

Dotec recorded an Euro 3 V8 bi turbo, it's the one you can get in the Actros Black Edition.

That sounds nice and interesting but I find the turbo noise to be too loud but maybe you might turn down the turbo sound a little bit for the final version to give to Dotec for his MP3. I can't wait to test it and I find it very good that it's a V8 but the one real open pipe from a MP3 is long gone so now we have this which is also good. I could write for hours but I am not going to.

You can turn down turbo volume in the sounds configuration menu

I don't know but Dotec seems to be active on the steam workshop more then he is active on the SCS forum, so you might consider asking Dotec in the steam workshop about his mp3 when it will have the two sounds in there. I am also looking forward to it.
