To think that some of us played the first first version of this game. It is so heartwarming to see it developing into something so marvelous and realistic. It is the Simulation game that us played the most all over the world. It caters for everyone. And very addictive too. With or eithout mods. You can still enjoy it.

First of all on my opinion are the engine-sound-mods, especially for the older models in ATS and ETS2. The new models are okay. I think the sound was the biggest issue in that games ... but it´s getting better and better. Nevertheless the sound fixes pack and traffic density is obviously a must-have.

With Sound fixes mod, my game crashes upon entering UK. The moment I deactivated that mod, issue got fixed. My game version 1.51.

With properly setup settings, I would say ETS2 does better job than the mod. I've tried recommended setting with a mod I've tried proper ets2 settings setup I would say they're either damn close to each other or ets2 in-built settings have an edge. That being said, essentially both feel pretty unrealistic😅

Rate and talk about the mod: Traffic Lights with Realistic Timing I thought it brought more realism to the game. I personally didn't really like the default operating mode of the original SCS where there was a yellow light when it changes from red to green, I see that this has been removed in this mod. I understand that this mode of lights is based on some European countries, but here in the Americas we don't have this standard. Thank you, and congratulations on the videos on your channel!

"Ultimate real companies mod", people there is reporting some pink textures instead of mod textures. same problem was reported in another company mod i use but it was said there that it was a game bug, not mod. unable to verify.

the mod i am using is "Real companies & gas stations", as the name says it also changes the gas/petrol stations, however it does not change traffic vehicles like the ultimate real companies does.

jazzycat mods i believe to be more reliable getting from MODLAND website. he used to have his own website but isnt updated since game version 1.40. on modland however it seems updated and the username with his name is marked as "verified creator", but the website isnt on itself a official modding site, so i cant be certain if its the real jazzycat or not.

It seems as though this specific real companies mod doesnt work on the latest update. The small box vans all have pink texture and the real companies dont appear in the job lists or even in the world. I had to download a different one that works, but is not as detailed as this one seems to be.

All normal trailers should work just fine. It only changes the AI cars on the road.

Most mods are just usless that only make some illusion about improvements. Better playing original ETS2 with latest updates at least first 100 hours then thinking about some mods. 99% of them you don't even need to enjoy the game. IMHO

@@AntonBazzhenov real cars in traffic. The original product is great. But mods usually make it way better. Any game with extensive mod support remains alive long after their release. Just look at Skyrim, Arma 3, GTA 5.
