Duisburg has an amazing update, best update in a long time. I could imagine when truckersmp updates this to 1:50 that there will be a lot of players around. Still hoping one day that UK gets a fresh update, feels like its been untouched for years since the UK was introduced to the game

Lane assist looks funny with force feedback. I can just take my hands off the wheel and it will move by itself. Add adaptive cruise control to the mix and you can almost have full autopilot

I noticed you had a 3060ti which is the same as me - would you consider doing a video on the settings you use for the new TAA and other graphical features in 1.50? I've played around with my 3060 but it still looks nowhere as good as your videos do and I'm lost to know exactly what to use and what settings etc.

Can’t lie, I was slightly disappointed as I expected more. I’m not hating on the developers, they have done an amazing job and I know it’s far from easy to work on a game of this scale. The new UI is great but I was expecting a new Scania or Volvo and a few more reworked areas as the 1.50 update is a special number. Personally I don’t think this disappointment was any fault of the developers, but the ETS2 content creators like yourself hyping stuff up, not naming any names. If you are still reading this then what are you doing with life, I don’t have a clue what i’m talking about here and if your thinking i’m not right in the head, I agree! 😂

I sort of agree - to me it's more of a general upgrade to graphics and performance and while I welcome that I just wish SCS would spend a lot more time on the shonky traffic AI and the utterly random/stupid speeding tickets: how can you get a ticket on a tiny back road at 3am with not a single other vehicle around? And the ridiculous issue where all the traffic stops at a roundabout or at lights for a traffic jam or some totally minor accident and none of the AI vehicles move, even if there's plenty of room to get around the blockage - so you have to do move using the CTRL-F9 hack. I just think the core game still needs so many improvements to AI and general gameplay before giving us fine dust particles and cascading shadows.

New trucks can be added within 1.50, they don't really need a major version change. Hopefully things will start to get going soon, as ETS2 is quite a bit behind on new truck releases compared to ATS.

Won't run, constantly crashes when choosing quick jobs. unplayable. anyone know a fix? i'd prefer not to have to reinstall the game if possible, I am trying not to do that otherwise it'd take hours as I have a HDD dedicated to steam games which is quite slow at WRITING to the disk.

Just because you like the old one more doesn't mean the new one is bad. And about it being complicated is not true, as an old player coming back to ets2 I'd say it's a massive improvement and easy to understand. Maybe you're just so used to the old one that changes feels like a nuisance to you rather than it being unnecessarily complicated

Use free camera and move close to the shadows. You can see it moving/glitching. My friend has the same issue. Fences and road barriers are the most noticeable.

Grapichs too old for 2024 and game needs more diffrent trucks. I think before the UI you guys need to re texture the game. Same way map feels like a same, ı travel whole map and ı see there is a rarerly diffrent things like a bridge or statue. Like others have said, I only plan to drive through the new Swiss area just to see it and uncover the new cities added this update, then again with the Greece DLC, then that's it. the biggest change is that "huge lag" has reappeared !!! Thank you SCS !!! There was absolutely no lag after some 1.49.x update. And don't wonder... My rig is good I think (Ryzen5 / 32GB / Radeon7600)

tbh this is a good Update also change that you havent noticed cause its not visable for end user is that this update seems to add some signs to adding electric trucks in code. however i wouldnt say its like biggest update ever (Convoy was the one) good thing that they addef TAA it will improve overall how game looks. Also 1.50 is only example while i like new UI really SCS should teach discord how to do it :D

The User Interface is not full translated. In german Language, many options and texts are still in english. =) I miss pro mods in 1.50. =)
